"Pier view is a lovely little house with everything that you will need in a home from home. The views from the property are amazing and Mesmerising. There is plenty to see and do in the area too with walks and botanical gardens close by and not to far away from supermarkets and shops if needed. Would highly recommend if you
just want to get away from it all and relax."
"The place was great… totally felt like I was in an Agatha Christie novel… great vegan options too… my room was cute and clean… only complaint was the obvious damage of something previous on the ceiling so it felt a little less special. "
"An amazing space to just be & chill out. B & B with decking, area with seating , cosy log cabin & spacious garden area overlooking tranquil loch. Seals can be seen bobbing about & red squirrels are a frequent visitor to the garden. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and the breakfast includes croissants, fresh fruit & Loch Fyne smoked salmon.
The rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean.
There are nearby walks including at Carrick Castle and Donich Falls. The village pub often has...

"Fantastic location for a nights stay before travelling to Islay from Cumbria. Amazing views across Long Loch. Hotel was spacious but a wee bit dated. Food was delicious and all the staff we encountered were really friendly "
"The apartment was lovely, so clean and well situated. We stayed as a family of granny, mum, 2 kids and a baby and it was perfect. The fold out bed was light and easy to move to where suited us. We did some cooking and were happy with utilities for doing so, sheet pans and pots were great, only complaint there is that there were no oven gloves.
Another note for improvement would be some hooks or hangers in the downstairs bedroom. Overall was great and we would stay again."
"Fantastic hotel perfectly site on the banks of Loch Lomond.
The staff were friendly and efficient.
Our room was well appointed and was extremely clean.
The food was excellent.
The Tarbet Hotel is a wonderful place to stay."
"Always a warm welcome, comfy beds, very quiet and peaceful. Staff really go the extra mile. Even brought us plates and cutlery for our takeaway. Lovely old place. "
