Beautiful location - very clean, large and beautifully furnished room.
We had dinner and a take away breakfast bap at the Inn on the Loch.
A bit noisy on bottom floor room as you can hear those above walking around - in their bathroom I think.
The room had a wonderful view of Loch Lomond, was exceptionally clean, and the staff was gracious and quite helpful. Overall, a great middle stop on our way from Isle of Skye to The Lake District.
Such a cute place! Definitely an interesting way to get to the building itself lol but a great location once you do.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Honestly, this listing is incredibly misleading. There is no spa on site. Listed as an hotel is its own right, I knew check in was elsewhere but it shows pictures of a spa. In reality, the main hotel is a 5 mins drive away. This an annexed building with some rooms. There's no staff, the spa is in the main hotel where recption is. The rooms are tired, walls scuffed, floor creaky. Bed was really comfy and the views were spectacular but not what I'd signed up for. Our shower didn't drain to the point of thinking I was going to flood the rooms below. Not quite the romantic get away I'd planned. Be wary if booking the beach house.
Not well sign posted, reception 3 miles from the rooms when staying at boat house. This is not clear and the hotel name is different where you check-in, so very confusing and took me 30 mins to get it right. Then 20 minutes to check in. Lots of running around, could be made a lot easier. Room itself is good.
If anyone is staying here for peace and quiet you will be disappointed, the entrance door to the building has to be one of the loudest banging doors in Scotland. Banging all night and then started again from 7.00am. You can hear everything from the room above us, every word and every creaking footstep. Room itself was lovely and a great shower. Room had everything we needed.
lack of parking at the property is an issue for an 8 bedroom place and we were only informed about the lack of eating options once we had booked which wasn't ideal
Room is amazing but found out I had to drive backwards 3 miles to get the key for my room, at another hotel. Email about reservation said nothing about this. Then. Receptionist was, well, not rude but barely on the edge.
I booked this for a surprise birthday gift, my friend is from Norway and he absolutely loved it. It's like having your own private apartment, the room was spotless and cleaned every day. Good facilities, coffee machine, kettle with choices of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, small fridge in the room with two bottles of water, comfortable bed and the shower was fantastic. There's also an ironing board and iron and full toiletries in the bathroom. The staff in the Inn on Lochmond where we had breakfast were so nice and the food was amazing, we also had dinner there. The views over the Loch are stunning. A few people have mentioned that you can hear other guests in the building, we could hear the people above us but it was due to squeaky floorboards there was no other noise from any of the rooms and yes we could hear people coming in and going out the front door but in no way did it spoil our stay. The Beach House app worked perfectly with checking in and out and opening the door. I would highly recommend this place and definitely will be back.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Beach House. We are a family of 4 with young children and a dog. We had a quadruple family room which was a really good size and nicely finished with a wonderful loch view. The location is excellent, with a little beach outside that was completely empty whenever we went, despite the nearby village feeling busy. Little extras like the nespresso machine and dog treats were appreciated. A couple of minor things, you have to drive a couple of miles out the way to check in at the main hotel, not a massive deal. Offering a cot would be a good addition for families. It was a very hot day and the room got really warm due to the big windows that barely opened. However we were relieved that they didn’t open much when we later realised at night the outside wall is absolutely covered in spiders!
