The pool was a delightful feature during the hot spell we encountered. The unit had everything we needed but what stood out was the tranquility and surrounding beauty. "Villa Lecchi is a beautiful property with some of the best service and hospitality we’ve experienced in our 2 week trip in Italy. The staff were warm and attentive, the views were breathtaking, and the food was exceptional. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner multiple times and every meal was delicious. Dining on the terrace at sunset was unforgettable.
The pool area was enchanting, offering a peaceful atmosphere and panoramic views.
Our room was spacious, but being on the first floor, there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom drains, which worsened on the last day. We didn’t report it, but we think it is a known issue and would probably not be present in higher room floors. The AC made odd noises at times and the mattress was very firm, causing back pain. A thicker mattress topper would have helped, the one provided was too thin.
Overall, we would highly recommend Villa Lecchi, it was a great way for us to end our 2 week trip."
"This is a lovely village and an exceptional house. The kitchen was large and cool as it was on the bottom floor. The garden was a delight and we spent many hours dining al fresco sipping local wine. One caution is if you do not like stairs, this might not be your best location for you as there is a flight of stairs from the bedroom on the top floor to the main bathroom on the second floor and another flight to the kitchen. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed this accommodation. It was my partner's favorite of our entire 3 week trip. "
