"Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !"
"This property was beautiful and very clean. Staff are super friendly and accomodating. It is a bit out the way from main areas of Hakuba. However, the hotel does have a shuttle bus, only on a limited schedule though. "
"This hotel is amazing on all counts, legendary breakfast beyond wildest dreams and expectations, a cornucopia of delights. I will return and recommend to anyone and especially my friends and family"
"The property is managed by the nicest owners. They were so accomodating and even offered to drop us off in the town centre on both days of our stay as it was too hot to walk. "
"what a lovely place. very pretty, great location. the service and staff there is wonderful bordering on magical. this was our first trip to Japan and we were so happy to have chosen hotel traumerie... "
"The apartment for 4 person is located in a building with no elevator, so we had to carry luggage up the staircase. Luckily, we were given 2nd floor unit.
The apartment unit is spacious and clean. The staff is responsive to our message and can write in English. Overall still a great stay and would recommend to others. 👍"

"Saiko was the best host you could hope for. We had an amazing time. The facilities had everything you needed including breakfast. I was definitely recommend staying here. "
"First time staying at Granjam. Absolutely delightful. Room is clean, spacious and hotel staff are all thoughtful. Be sure to check out their daily dinner set menu...best japanese meals we have ever had!"
"Lovely trip to Hakuba with the family staying at the footstep of the Iwatake slopes. The snow was on and my family and I had a great time. The cottage is lovely, something you would imagine staying at in the snow or by a lake. Has everything you need in it, from the kitchen to the bathroom. Heating was amazing, and the place was so cozy. Only downfall was the standup piano and my daughter thinking she was John Legend so having to listen to that all night did my head in. But in all seriousness, the host was so accommodating and lovely. Came in and gave us a tour of the place to ensure we knew where everything was and how to operate everything. Futons you can double up if you can't handle sleeping on the floor, but my back is the best its ever been for a long time! Our host even gave us a discount card to use at the local ski hire shop right in front of the chair lifts. We used a hire car rather than public transport which suited us well, parking our the front and local supermarket about a 10min drive from the cabin with the laundromat right next door. We cooked in every night. Thank you for the great memories! "
"The resort was first class. We loved the Onsen which they had both private and public. They had no restrictions on Tattoos. The breakfast was great and we saved a lot of money on dinners since they had free wine, soups, miso, udon, etc every afternoon. "
"Convenient location, close to Tsugaike and Iwatake where the property owner will drop you daily in the morning and pick up in the afternoon on request. The shuttle bus stop to the other resorts is a short walk from the accommodation. Alan is a good host and is very friendly and obliging. He picked us up on short request when we picked up our ski gear on the first day and dropped us off where we wanted to drop our ski gear on the last day. A nice cooked breakfast is included and the accommodation includes a womens and mens small onsen, which can be booked privately daily. The onsen was a blessing after a long day of skiing. Alan's bar, Amigos bar is a short walk from the accommodation. A nice place to relax and eat after a day of skiing. "
After visiting Happo Information Center, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Happo. You can seek out the ski slopes while in the area.
