"The Sea Gypsy is an absolute oasis from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk (and yet extremely close to it when that's what you want.) There are not enough stars to rate the charm of the place. We were in the DH Lawrence suite and it came with its own guard-cat, Romeo. ;-) The whole experience there was a vacation unto itself."

"The check-in process was sketchy. The owners own multiple hotels in the area and while I reserved a room in one hotel, I ended up in a different hotel altogether. The room was great and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a technical glitch with the TV caused by a previous resident who had brought his own firestick and failed to reset the input source before they left. Overall the room at the BelAir (where I ended up) was top notch."
