"Cable Mountain Lodge is THE place to stay if you wish to avoid using your car to visit Zion National Park. I'll agree it's not the cheapest place to stay in town, but it's by FAR, the most convenient. You can walk to the visitor center and if you wish, you can easily ride the shuttle to anywhere in town for dining. Pool is nice, and the convenience to the market and brew pub is great."

The Subway downstairs has great coffee and a really, really nice staff. 30 minutes from Davis supermarket and 40 from a Walmart. The owner was on site almost every day- very friendly and helpful.
