"Wonderful cottage in a quiet neighborhood on a nice little lake. It is a great setting and was perfect for us to decompress after spending holiday festivities with family. Greg was great to work with and provided all the communication needed to be prepared for the cottage. We are looking to book again due to the proximity to the coast, shopping and restaurants!"

"This is a beautiful, 2 bedroom condo that was hard to leave. The home is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need for a very comfortable stay. Tina and Jim are excellent hosts and had a wonderful basket full of goodies on the counter along with a personalized welcome greeting and card waiting for us. The deck overlooks a large pond and tidal creek and there is big lawn with a fire pit for cooler evenings. We would definitely stay there again. Larry & Sherri"

"The cottage was cute and had what we needed. The listing could indicate that it has a pod only coffee maker as we were not prepared with pods. Could have been cleaner as well. Carpet not vacuumed, several dishes not clean etc"

"This is a great spot, closely located by the beach, pet friendly, and the perfect amount of space. The small kitchen was enough to prepare meals for my wife and I and. There is a great selection of old books and photos. Ed provided great recommendations in the area to visit as well. If you're coming to Plum Island, you don't want to miss this spot!"

"Loved this place. Great location and it was a very quiet space (though I did go and off-season at the beginning of May). Stove and microwave took some getting used to, and I didn’t use the oven, but the kitchen was great. It’s a small space, and the loft is open to the living area so it’s best for a couple that goes to bed at the same time or someone traveling solo. Wish they had a fire pit, but the space was great."

"Blue Chill Cottage was such a wonderful place to stay with my family if 4. The decor was perfect, and everything was very well organized. Just a quick walk to the beach, and a wonderful place to relax after a day out!"

"Lovely house made us feel right at home even with 2 kids and two dogs! Slight issue getting in on the first night but owners were available and able to help us right away. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday but this would be great place to stay in the summer too! Several places to eat at the end of the street."

"the location is excellent proximity to downtown Portsmouth. It was so nice to be able to walk to and from dinner. Very quiet neighborhood. Charming old house with many older home quirks. The 3rd floor bedroom and bathroom are separated from the house but up many stairs so not too good for older adults and honestly more suitable for children or teens. It was quite stuffy however there is a nice breeze from the windows however."

"The property, although not within easy walking distance of much, is located a very short drive from downtown Portsmouth and attractions. The house was nicely set up, had ample room to enjoy, and all of the house amenities needed. Would recommend!"

"Very cute spot! Lake was beautiful. Close for Ubering to and from Salem which is why we were there. There seemed to be a miscommunication on allowing us to check in early, however, bc when we arrived dirty towels were still in a pile on the bathroom and the bed sheets were used. Not a huge deal, we stripped the bed ourselves and added new sheets and cleaning crew came around 45 minutes before “normal” check in and did the rest. Also was pretty cold at night and in early morning and unsure how...

"The unit is the whole first floor of an older house, rearranged into two bedrooms, with a living room, dining room, AND a den (plus kitchen). The bathroom is quite small and needs better lighting. The master bedroom could use a luggage stand (no other furniture or closet in the room). And there are renovations that aren't quite finished. But overall its quite nice. Everything works. It's a quiet neighborhood. Very good value and will repeat."
