We enjoyed staying at Tranquility cabin. Updated and very clean. It was very convenient to Yosemite and surrounding area. Our host was very great at communicating with us. We would stay here again.
We loved staying at this wonderful lovely place. It has everything you need plus great views. The location was perfect for going to Yosemite park and exploring the surrouding area. So looking forward to returning.
Enjoyed the area, ny only issue was the lack of privacy with the beds, the pictures are slightly misleading. The standard of comfort was 5 stars, comfortable beds very nice soft linens. Oversized towels were a pleasant surprise! Definitely will be back when we go to Yosemite!
Me and my family enjoyed the days that we stayed here very clean and beautiful home away from home, we explored the city as well as going to Yosemite. Thank you so much for the memories that we made here !
Nice and secluded but close to town. Very quiet at night. You can hear the wild life walking around at night. Saw deer on the property. I would stay again. Be careful in wet weather due to it being an unpaved road
This was a very cool place to stay for a couple nights while I hiked Yosemite (tho it's about a 90 minute drive to the park, but it was a beautiful drive so I didn't mind it). It's off the beaten path (and back some windy roads). It's a cool layout with the kitchen/laundry downstairs and the open area loft above with the beds and couch/TV. Only one thing I missed and that was a microwave. Nice selection of restaurants just a few miles from it. Host was very responsive to my texts.
Stayed for 3 nights with my wife. Clean place with plenty of space for 2 people. The upper level has a queen bed and bunk beds, as well as a small living room with a couch and a TV. The lower level has the dining room and kitchen. Small bathroom in the upper level with a tiny shower with heated water. Has another bathroom in the lower lever without a shower but a washer and dryer. Good wifi connection, did not try the TV. Overall excellent place to stay if you plan to spend most of the day (6am - 6pm for us) at Yosemite. Fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely come back. Host is responsive and welcoming.
We had a fantastic experience. The house was spotless, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. The host provided clear and detailed instructions on how to reach the house, which made our journey smooth and stress-free. Whenever we had questions, the host was quick to respond and extremely helpful. The serene location, surrounded by nature, was the perfect getaway. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!
First of all - It is a lovey property. After busy excursions to the park and sights, coming back to a nice "home away from home" is special.Secondly - A setback was a lack of privacy for our guest. We didn't realize that the sleeping configuration was "ala dormitory style" in that all the beds were in a "great room" along with the large screen TV on the second level. All of us cherish our privacy - particularly when it comes to sleeping arrangements. Fortunately, we were able to relocate our guest with another rental down the road.Thirdly - We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this excellent rental to any future travelers.
I went with my family to Yosemite, and stay here. We loved this place, everything was so organize and clean. A quiet and lovey place. We really enjoy our staying here. I didn’t read that is pet friendly, because my allergies activated. but no complains. i recommend this place, the owner was so helpful, answering my messages. 100 recommended
We needed a place to stay in between visits to Yosemite. This was fairly reasonably priced and had enough room for our family of 4 (minus the small shower). It was hot upstairs (80°) even in the evening; we were able to turn the AC down but it still never felt like it cooled off much. The location is way off the beaten path and very secluded (other than the second house on the property). We were there less than 12 hours but it was a clean place to shower and sleep.
Loved staying at the cottage! Perfect for my friend and I after a long 2 days in Yosemite. We stayed here for my 21st birthday, so I will remember this place forever! Definitely plan to stay again if I'm in the area.
The property was in a good location. The issue we had was the temperature. When we got to the house, the temperature was 90 plus inside. The change the temperature setting and the house cooled down. We went hiking in the park the next day and when we came home the temperature was again in the 80s. We message the owner and he changed the automatic settings that changed the temperature. The temperature was good the final day of our stay.
Overall, content with my stay. Daniel was always quick to respond to any questions I had. The home itself was very clean and spacious. Daniel was even kind enough to let me use the EV charger that is part of the other unit on the property. Pros: - Plenty of space - A/C - Close enough to Yosemite- Dog friendly- about 15 minutes from town - washer / dryerCons:- mattress is way too soft ***- a little critter seems to live in the attic (keeps you up all night, if you are a light sleeper)- TV is crazy slow - bunkbed is not steady at all - it wobbles - the water has a smell / taste to it (metallic almost)*** only a con if you prefer firm mattresses
The House was nice, but the TV remote had dead batteries. I had to go out myself to buy new ones. The Bathroom doorknob was also half-broken such that once locked it wouldn't easily unlock. I nearly locked myself in the bathroom one night and wouldnt risk locking the door again.
