"We had a really great experience with the Swift House Inn. I booked our night through hotels.com using the dog friendly filter as we would be bringing our 40lb golden-doodle, Unfortunately, the day of our stay, we realized we were not booked in a dog-friendly room. Thankfully, Kathy quickly worked with management and was able to make an exception so that we could bring our dog. When we entered our adorable "John Deere" room, there was a welcome basket for our dog, including bowls, toys, treats, etc. - it was so thoughtful especially after the mixed-up reservation! Overall, the place is extremely quaint and they have tried to think of all of the extras to make it even more enjoyable (homemade cookies, Nespresso bar, chocolates, etc). We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at Jessica's; delicious frittata, french toast, yogurt bar, etc. After breakfast, we walked to the Chipman Hill Top Trail and hiked the Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum Loop - it was spectacular! Amazing foliage and views! The total distance was 5 miles and it was a perfect end to our stay."

"The room was exactly as described on the website, and very clean. Plenty of space to unpack and spread out. The shower looked new, there's a long shelf built in to hold all your shower needs plus there were dispensers full of shampoo, conditioner and soap. There was a double towel bar which is a nice touch. Beds were comfortable. The bedside lamp and alarm clock have USB ports. Every staff person we saw was friendly and helpful, from checking in to just saying 'good morning' as we walked by one another. We would definitely stay here again, 10/10!"

"The little cottage was adorable, very modern and clean. A grab bar in the bathroom near the toilet would have been nice but we are older women so young people wouldn’t need it. The lake level was very low when we were there and I would have liked to walk along the shore but the access to the lake is for younger, more agile people. The rocks at the bottom of the stairs and lack of railings on the lower steps was a problem. The views and the many windows were perfect as was the deck area. In all it was a relaxing stay."
