"I di not rate the amenities because there really were none. The staff were very helpful and prompt when we called. The TV and remote did not work when we first went to the room. I called the front desk, and the gentleman was there immediately. There had been a full power outage the night before and just had to make an adjustment on the TV. He was apologetic and friendly. The coffee was readily available located by the front desk. Clean room, Made the 2 nights stay comfortable, close to town and Fort Ticonderoga. Parking is located right out the front entrance"

"Perfect spot for my husband, dog and I to relax for a few days. We loved watching the birds enjoy the lake from the deck and having a fire by the water at night. The trains do go by a couple times a day, but we didn’t mind the noise."

"I was in a room on the 1st floor because I can't go up a lot of stairs. I was only there for one night. The sign is hard to see at night, that's how I drove right by it. This room came with its own bath which was great. The tub was a bit too steep and needs to have something to mitigate slipping, maybe accessibility bars on the side. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and tidy, I much appreciated that."

"Stayed here for two weeknights mid-ish August 2026. Service was really great. Very professional and courteous. The rooms were nice enough. Ours was pretty spacious with a balcony with not much of a view (guess that is what you get for only $400/night). Pretty pricey during summer time. That said, the setting and grounds are spectacular. As they stress, a very traditional NE summer resort. We did not eat there at all and didn't partake of much of the entertainment they had to offer, but my daughters loved the ambiance, the historical buildings, the sunsets, and scenery. While we didn't partake of much of the entertainment, we could see it all around us. Regret is not spending enough time here (we treated it more like a hotel than a resort)."

"We had a beautiful experience in this cabin. Very dog friendly, big yard for lots of games (if you’re into that stuff) water front property with a rope to pull kayaks out of the water to make it easy in and out. We had a pop up set up near the water so we could even be outside in the rain. Great location. We had such a fun time being in the river even though the water level was lower than normal. Close to groceries and center of town to make it easy to restock. We can’t wait to come back and return. Hot tub was clean and ready for us after our mountain adventures!"
