"Property was beautiful. House was wonderfully decorated. There were fresh flowers on arrival and the host was gracious enough to leave coffee and water. Being able to park in the garage is a definite plus. Location is next to downtown and old town walking areas as well as the sawmill area which is great for casual dining. I would definitely stay again. Host was wonderful. "

"This was our second time staying at The Monterey, and we were in town for a concert. The staff was extremely kind and helpful with anything that we needed, and the property was in great condition! Our room was nice and clean when we walked in after a long travel day and was the perfect place to relax. The bar was great, and the parking was relatively easy. I have a large SUV (Ford Explorer), and the parking spaces were a bit tight, but if you have a smaller car than that you’ll have no issues with the size of the spaces. "

The breakfast is among the best we've ever had at any budget hotel, with many choices and plenty of delicious, hot food. Coffee was great too. All in all, we had a very comfortable stay in Old Town Albuquerque. Be sure to tip these folks. They do a great job on a tight budget. We'll be back!"

"We like to stay at the Best Western Rio Grande because it is easily accessible, close to Old Towne, it is clean, the grounds are well kept, the staff is great and there’s a restaurant that offers a selection for a free breakfast instead of corn flakes and a waffle. We had our small service dog with us and they were very accommodating. "
