Staff was somewhat friendly but not helpful when it came to taking up luggage up to the top floor with no elevator at the hotel, had to make 2 trips with my mom to take our suitcases up and the male receptionist didn’t bother to help. Breakfast was bland with a small selection. Hotel is a 30 min walk from St. Marks basilica with little food options close by and a water taxi to get there will cost you about €60-€70. Wouldn’t stay at this hotel if I came back to Venice.

This property was absolutely perfect. Away from the tourists but very walkable with tons of things to do nearby. I enjoyed my stay 100 percent.

Nice, Helpful and Updated.
Girl receptionist was very helpful, even walked us for our cab pickup the following day. We booked the annex room and I was pleasantly surprised about how updated and new inside the room is although it looked old from the outside and the pics. You prob need to walk like 10 mins for food but Overall, a pretty good place

I stayed in the "single" room. Nothing fancy but perfect for my needs. Had "twin" bed which is more "full size" by American standards. I knew to expect the hardness of bed and pillows (adjust a bit not to support neck but upper back, shoulder blades). I slept 14 hours and woke completely refreshed. I also expected the shower "spot", there is no shower built in just a floor drain and faucet setup, which is completely normal in Italy. The room was wonderfully quiet even though right by front desk. Staff was wonderfully helpful, courteous and friendly. By the way, contrary to previous reviews, the AC does indeed work but the settings are reversed from what is standard in America. Choose "sun" for AC. Choose "snowflake" for heat. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Although the property was clean, I did not like the family “suite”. We were in a attic room with no dresser or closet, the beams in the ceiling made it difficult to stand strait in certain parts also the bathroom was tiny with no shower only a tub and more beams so you had to bend to wash yourself and also had to sit sideways to use the toilet because you’re knees would hit the sink shelf. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend anyone staying here. Some of the staff was helpful but one particular woman was not.

Quaint hotel - very helpful staff
Very quaint hotel and beautiful location close to many areas. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Only negative would be that there isn't an elevator so can be difficult if you have a lot of luggage like we did since we were about to go on a cruise

our holidays depend not only on Hotel amenities but also hotel staff. Hotel Tiziano has the best staff ! Starting with the kitchen girl and finishing with reception staff. Everyone is friendly and kind, patient and paying attention. Breakfast is satisfying. Clean rooms with everyday make up. Quiet hotel with air conditioning . Amazing story of hotel renovation. The place to return.

The hotel had a 24 hrs reception which was really nice since we checked in late. My family really loved their breakfast offerings. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a very quiet section of Dosoduro away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. It takes a couple of days to acclimate to the neighborhood but enjoyed. There is an annex across the street from the hotel where I stayed. At first, I wasn’t sure about staying there, but it was fine. If you prefer to be where the desk is located, request a room in that building.

clean and quiet, very friendly staff. The location is away from the tourist area -- lots of college students nearby, which we liked. we were in an attic room with two sky windows and one small window from which you can see the roof of neighboring buildings. Breakfast was excellent. Mattress a little bit too firm for our likings though we do use extra firm mattress at home.

The room may be a little small, but Venice is a place with small buildings so it is probably like this in most of Venice. The beds were hard but all this didn’t stop me from still giving this place a 5star review! We enjoyed our stay. It was in a quiet part of Venice, not in the tourist area. Short water taxi ride into other areas so it was no hinderance. The staff was all very helpful for any questions we may have and even lowered the breakfast price from 10 to €5 all on their own because we didn’t end up eating much. I would recommend this place!

Bedroom had permanent smell of blocked sewers and breakfast (which we'd felt was a highlight last time) was a major disappointment. I accept that COVID19 restrictions were in place but the food was unappetising and poor quality

Very clean and well appointed apartment which fortunately was close to a supermarket as we were there when Venice unfortunately experienced the epic floods and spent a great deal of time in the apartment

Fabulous hotel
A beautiful and very comfortable hotel. The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. We had a taxi van ordered for us to take us to the airport when departing and the lovely lady from reception actually walked with us, wheeling a bag, to the van, which was a 5 min walk. Fantastic service. I would most definitely stay here again. Thank you!
