“Sydney InterContinental”

We had 5 nights at the InterContinental in Sydney and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were extremely helpful, and the room immaculate. Circular Quay was a short stroll down the road, and the Opera House was 5 minutes from the hotel. I would recomment this hotel to anyone seeking accommodation close to the CBD in Sydney.

“Great Location, great hotel!”

My wife and I stayed at the Intercontinental for 5 nights in August for a vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very fancy and the views are incredible. Things in Sydney are a lot closer than we realized and we were able to walk to almost all of the major attractions from the hotel. The staff let us check in early and check out late with no extra cost. The room was comfortable and met expectations.

“Wonderful way top see Sydney's best sights”

We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Sydney. The view from the Watsons Bay View room was beautiful and I think probably better than the more expensive rooms that have a view of the harbour. Seeing the yachts and boats sailing out on the picturesque bay was beautiful. The hotel is in a quiet area, a quick and easy walk from the Rocks and from the Opera House. The Botanical Gardens are just across the road. The breakfast was good and the staff helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. Dining in was very expensive but there are so many good places to eat in Sydney that are reasonable if you look beyond the tourist area.

“Great Location and Views”

We had the Harbour view room and if it wasn't for the building in front we would also have had a view of the Opera House. Impressive location, easy to get to everything. Beds were really comfortable, kids loved the pool (a bit too much chlorine though!). Would definitely stay there again.

“Great Place to Enjoy Sydney”

The Intercontinental is conveniently located to everything I wanted to visit. I loved the room service except for the tomato soup and the bed was heavenly! Sydney is expensive (and sometimes you feel like you got ripped off) but the Intercontinental made the trip worth it!

“Amazing Hotel, but not Expedia”

This Hotel was great and I would definitely stay again, but I would not book it through Expedia. The hotel charged my credit card for the full hotel stay after i already had it booked through Expdeia and paid for. I showed the hotel my confirmation sheet and they still charged me since they never recieved the money from Expedia. Last time I book with Expedia.

“No hesitation in recommending to friends and family.”

We stayed at Intercontinental and did the bridge climb. It was a 15 minute walk to the Bridge climb office, but didnt seem that long, as there was so much to see. Very close to The Rocks, Opera House, Circular Quay. Accommodation was excellent, staff were very helpful. I would have no hesitation staying again at this establishment.

“Intercontinental is Good Value for money”

While it is a top classs hotel, the Inercontinental's rooms lack some refinement, especially the bathrooms. The shower is not separate to the bath, so things are a little cramped. The breakfast was great.
