The service was excellent as were the size of the rooms. the hotel is looking a little tired but worked well for our visit being very central to everything obviously great for the trains and buses.. the bus terminal is conveniently outside and perfect for your sightseeing with a flat fee of 230 yen per trip."

"Great welcome at check in. Lovely large, spotless room with everything we needed. Comfortable bed, sofa and desk. Great bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer provided. We used the washers/dryers on floor 2 which worked well. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, all very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful when we were forwarding our luggage to our next hotel. Great location, a short walk from the main rail station. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"Hotel was clean in room, but foyer out of lift and corridor to room way too dark. Breakfast was average didnt cater much for non asian people.( i understand we are in Japan but other hotels offered alot more choice) Pillows way to hard even though i asked for a softer one. Hotel is close to shops, food, buses, subway and Gion district. Our stay was ok but wouldnt use hotel again. "
