Hotel Marcantonio - wifi very good - Location close to station - No lobby - Front desk was in the 5th floor and our room was in the 1st - Breakfast is just coffee and croissant which they bring to ur room - You have to leave the key when leaving for the day, it’s a hassle since it’s in the 5th floor - Elevator (very old kind) is only for 2 person plus luggage - Bed sheet still have the colored kind, most hotels have the white comforter/duvet which feels more clean - No bottled shampoo inside shower which most European hotels I’ve been too has some. - No coffee maker - Has mini fridge - And has AC!!!

The room was clean and the bathroom shower was bigger than some European showers. The tv had a couple English speaking channels so that was nice. The advertising for the hotel was misleading. The first picture is of a beautiful building and that is where we thought we were staying. It was not. It was a building down the street. It did have a good restaurant right across the street.

Rooms are very small (cruise ship like). Location was great. Attractions within walking distance. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was good. Hotel is on the 5th floor. Bring water. The elevator is tight. No claustrophobics. The internet image does not match actual hotel. Good hotel for just a place to sleep.

The rooms were small but big enough for what we needed. We just wanted a safe place where we could come back and relax after sightseeing all day. We got free breakfast every morning which consisted of croissants and danishes with orange juice and coffe or cappuccino or tea. The people at the front desk were friendly, especially the lady who checked us in. It was one block away from the Termini station and only about a half mile from the Colosseum.

Great hotel to stay at for the first time in Rome. What I really liked was that it was near Termini Station and lots of good restaurants in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful too.

While the customer service and the staff were superb, the truth is that this hotel lack of many things to include a better cleaning protocol, better and cleaning sheets, an elevator that can actually work properly, and a sign outside that can easily identify the hotel. If the hotel manage to improve thise areas, it will take the facility to the next level and make it more attractive to others.

Very close to Roma termini and walking to Fontana di Trevi. Only thing was that the room was much smaller than what it shows on the picture and there is no actual place for the breakfast but they bring in your room. Overall was recommended for a quick stay in Rome

This hotel was great. The location is perfect for exploring Rome and the staff are really helpful with hints and tips. The rooms are appropriate for the pricing - nothing fancy but a comfortable bed and hot shower!

Stayed here for 3 nights while in Rome, perfect location next to the train station and not too long walking distance to the main attractions like the Coloseum. The staff were great, very friendly, came on time every morning with a nice breakfast. The room was quite small but it has everything you need while staying in Rome for a few nights.

My stay at this hotel was disappointing. The outdated facilities, uncomfortable accommodations, and malfunctioning air conditioning made for an unpleasant experience. Getting hot water required an excessive wait, and the visible scratches on walls and wardrobe added to the overall shabbiness. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, and the location's proximity to public transport was convenient. However, the need for a renovation is evident. The additional charge of 5€ per person per night, coupled with a meager breakfast offering of a hot drink, a cold drink, and a croissant, further diminished the overall value.

This was a great find. Very close to all the attractions and train station . Good area for food and bars . Hotel was very comfortable, great friendly staff. Even delivered a coffee and juice to room at your preferred time with a pastry. Loved this place and if I go back to Rome I will look no further.

The staff were excellent and very helpful all the time, the histology is central and near a lot of famous places, the only thing that wasn’t mentioned in Expedia is that it is in the 5th floor, the photo is deceiving, it’s got an old lift that takes 2 with luggage, and our last 2 days there the lift was out of order.although the staff helped us taking our luggage down, it was tiring climbing 5 stories, they change their towels every 2 days, we’ve never had this in other hotels.

Very convenient
Place was conveniently located near the train station and bus stop that makes going around very easy. Rooms are comfortably small for the 2(1 double bed) and is clean and tidy.

This is an odd hotel in that it occupies the top floor of a building that has 3 other floors of 3 other hotels. Street signage is good, just wasn't aware that this would be the setup. Very close to train station and good restaurants. Hotel itself has lovely staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, room service for included continental breakfast. Major sights about a 15 to 20 minute walk. The only true negative for me was the elevator is very old and freaky. I'd stay here again.

The room was extremely small with a washbasin in the tiny bedroom and a bathroom so small it was hard to turn around, let alone shower comfortably. The furnishings were dated.

DO NOT STAY HERE - There are better hotels
This property is located within walking distance of the Colosseum. The staff are friendly. My biggest concern was the accommodations and the property offering a refund, but never actually giving the refund. I was here 2 times, the first time the accommodations were nice, a decent room with bidet and large bathroom. I was only in this room for 1 day, then on the last leg of our Italy trip I booked this hotel again for Monday - Thursday. We checked in on Monday and were given a very small room, no bidet, the shower was very small (a camper shower is bigger) and the room was so cramped that you could not walk around without bumping into our luggage. We checked in on Monday September 25th and immediately asked for a better room. We were told that no other rooms were available. I gave it some thought and booked a room with another hotel because I was not going to let this hotel ruin the end of my trip. We checked out on the same day Monday September 25th after securing another hotel reservation. Upon checkout they now decided that they have another room available. However, it was too late because we already booked a new hotel. John helped us checkout and called his manager to see if we could get a refund. The manager agreed to a partial refund for Tuesday and Wednesday, which I think was fair. The refund was supposed to show in a few days. It never came and when I contacted the property they said "they decided not to refund me because there was another room available.

Ryder Cup Week in Rome
Rooms were much smaller than we expected and we have lived in Europe so know what to expect; reception on 5th floor with TINY elevator. Slugged luggage up in three trips to learn that rooms were on 1st floor. Bed was comfortable. TV only in Italian and reception did not know how to add subtitles. Breakfast is just croissants and coffee delivered to room. Toilet did not flush several mornings but by afternoon it was working. Lots of creaking noises throughout the night. Needed some maintenance-toilet paper dispenser was close to falling off wall and leg of counter in room was very weak so we did not use it. Our friends could not exit their room one morning as the lock was not working properly. It took a number of tries before it finally disengaged, Positives: EXCEPTIONAL location! Safe area within a five minute walk of the train and metros. Good choice of restaurants in the area. Very high room rate for what we experienced but assume it was because of Ryder Cup and lack of hotel rooms. We were thankful to locate something in our price range. Note to Americans - No ice available at hotel or areas around the hotel.

Gem in Rome
Hotel was chosen for its 2 block location from Termini for those travelling by train. Plenty of service shops and bars and restaurants. Close to Metro line A.

This hotel is one of several in the same building, which I'd never seen before. A tiny, slow elevator to the 5th floor. It was quite clean, but in need of updating and could use more outlets in the room. Staff was accommodating. The location is good, as it's walkable from Roma Termini station, and there are many restaurants and shops in walking distance.

I was misleading by the photo of the hotel building, its a very small hotel with a few rooms at one or two of the floor s within the building. No mini fridge inside my room, and they gave me a two twin bed instead of 1 twin 1 full bed on my reservation.

Convenient and comfortable
Convenient location for a early flight out of Rome. Ticked all the boxes for us. Quick breakfast delivered to our room helped tremendously. A bit expensive but we were four to the room.
