“Excellent Value and Location”

This accommodation is excellent value for money against other hotels demanding far more cash for far less room and features. Centrally located, if a little difficult to find initially. Highly recommend.

“Great value, great location, loads of space.”

Booked this as it was very highly rated and we weren't disappointed. Excellent experience all round and in a superb location - just stroll out the door onto the riverside for bars, restaurants and great views of Melbourne city. Not cheap but very good value indeed. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We booked a one-bedroom apartment but it was huge and I suspect even a studio would have given the two of us (mother and adult son) plenty of space, even using the sofabed. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

“Amazing Hotel”

This is an amazing hotel and I can't wait to go back to stay again!! When I arrived I thought I was at the wrong hotel because it seemed too nice for the price I paid. Lucky I was wrong and they had my reservation. When I walked into my room, I was blown away by how spacious the room was and the quality of it. There was a lovely queen bed in a separate bedroom, a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, a full kitchen and table, and a living room with TV and DVD. I wished that I was staying for longer than 1 night to make the most of it all. I honestly just wanted to stay in the hotel room and not even leave. There was also a pool and gym that looked great, but I didn't have time to take advantage of them. There was an issue with the jets in the bathtub, after turning them on they continued to stay on. I reported it to the front desk and they immediately fixed it. I found all of the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful. This was the best hotel that I have stayed in for many years. I will be back and I will recommend it to everyone travelling to Melbourne.

“Spacious rooms and great location”

I stayed at the Quay West Suites in Feb 2007 and was extremely satisfied with the hotel and staff. The location, on the river opposite the CBD, was only a few minutes walk into town and provided easy access to a variety of local attractions. My room was spacious (bigger than a standard one bed London apartment!) and had a nice balcony for catching the afternoon sun. My only negative comment, and it is a minor point, was that my balcony only had a view of the surrounding streets rather than the river / city.

An excellent hotel in the best location of Melbourne, very handy to the Art Gallery and to the Southgate riverside development. We were most impressed with the staff and with all aspects of our stay and we'll use the place on our future visits.

“Best choice price hotel for Melbourne”

Excellent location for city on foot. Large apartment, 5* quality without the 5* pricing, serviced daily. Staff superb - friendly, helpful, informative. Unfortunately we were there Friday/Saturday nights - avoid Southbank for dinner - it is heaving at weekends! Definitely recommend it for future travellers & if we ever return to Melbourbe, this is where we would choose to stay.

Very pleased with the Suite. Bathroom a bit dated but overall the Suite was lovely and very clean. Location to restuarants and CBD was great.

Well positioned hotel overlooking the yarra river and city skyline. The one bedroom apartment was well designed and spacious and we really enjoyed having a balcony to sit out on, especially at the end of a long day!! The staff were always helpful and knowledgable and would definitely stay here again!

“Friendly Staff and Perfect Location!”

From the minute we checked in, the staff at the Quay West Apartments were extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay great. They provided us with maps, great tips and ideas for things to see and do. The rooms were fantastic and it was great having a kitchen with a dishwasher as a bonus! The apartment was in a brilliant location and having never been to Melbourne before, we loved that everything was walking distance from where we were staying. It was also great being so close to Southbank and all the great restaurants and festivities. The pool, spa and gym were excellent and very well maintained. We would definitely hightly recommend Quay West Melbourne and wouldn't stay anywhere else if we came to Melbourne again.
