"We were in Mackinac for 1 night before heading to the Island. The hotel was ok, it could use some updating but for 1 night it was fine. We thought we would grab breakfast before heading out, boy were we disappointed. Breakfast was microwaved pancakes, boiled ham, make yourself waffles, and bagels. No eggs, no fruit, no yogurt. And only one person trying to keep up with the breakfast crowd. Needless to stay we had to make a stop for breakfast before heading to the island. "

"For those who know me on this website, you know how I am really difficult to impress. Well this Hotel GOT ME. Even more at the price I paid. The hotel may be a little outside the Mackinaw city, but the distance worth the advantage. We had a wonderful spacious room, plenty of spaces, with balcony, view to the beach. The staff was friendly and informative, made sure we were fine, even offer to set up food service if needed, despite the late time. Wow. Wonderful. I won`t forget this place....

"We needed a place to spend the night with our dog and this was a good place for it. Since we stayed by the beginning of the season (May 2nd) the room seemed very clean. We enjoyed the location and being able to walk around the town with our dog. Everything there looks dated, but it is an acceptable place to spend the night and leave. The lobby hosted coffee/tea/hot water around the clock which was very appreciated as it was a chilly weekend.
