“Top quality budget hotel!”
I cannot recommend the Han Hotel highly enough. All the staff were super-friendly. The breakfast was always served v.promptly and tasted scrummy. My room was quite small but kept seriously clean. I really enjoyed the Han and would recommend it to anyone. Give it a try! You could not go to a better budget hotel.
“Good value for short tourist stay in Sultanahmet”
Small family-run hotel with friendly service. Compact clean room with old-fashioned decor in a townhouse, no elevator. Room had air conditioning but no TV and no closet, dresser or desk. Breakfast basic but quite adequate. Free wireless internet service, had occasional internet outages. Located within walking distance of the important tourist sites in Sultanahmet. Good value for short stay as a tourist, not adequate for longer stays or for most business travelers.
“Room 303”
If there had been two people staying in the room it would have been a real job to find somewhere to put luggage, the bed just about fitted in and the only other available floor space was taken up with a fridge that the cleaner insisted on keeping plugged in even though I wasn't using it. The breakfast was really good and the linen, towels and room itself all clean. The bathroom appeared to have been recently redecorated, unfortunately they'd neglected to fix the ceiling and I was never quite sure if it was going to come down on me. Other than that and the pale yellow scuffed walls, two tone pink doors and door frames and red and black wall paper all going on in the same space I did get a couple of decent nights sleep.
