“Perfect-exceeded expectations”
Would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Stayed in one of the front suites with fish pond at front door (August 2011). The property was immaculately clean, lush and tranquil. The first impression of the room was "big" and the second was the comfortable bed, each room also includes a Jacuzi. The room was new and luxurious, the curtains were able to block out all light for sleeping and it was VERY quiet. The staff were well presented and took much pride in their job, nothing was too much trouble and always there when needed. This is a small hotel and whilst fully booked we rarely saw other guests and was a bit like our own private hotel. We thought this was great value for money and will definately rebook when next in Sanur. The "obligatory" US$30 per guest surcharge does not exist.
“Hugest room ever!”
Jaw had to drop entering this room! Wow...great big spa bath in an "entry room" seperate from the rest of the accomodation. Then the rest of the room was massive...lounge area, bed area, large area for hanging/storing clothes etc and a really nice bathroom, big bath, huge seperate shower and double sinks. Apart from the acres of space, this room was extremely tastefully decorated and very modern. Best room I have stayed in in Bali...and we have been a few times. The hotel on a whole was really nice also. Lovely pool and gardens. We were lucky enough to be there with not many people and it felt like we had the whole hotel to ourselves. Was especially nice to roll about in the pool with our own bar and not have the usual masses of tourists with us. Really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a good idea, order the night before from an ala carte menu. Good choices, tasty and mean't you did not end up over stuffing on a buffet like other hotels! Great location and a few really good restaurants very close. Overall...better than most of the big resort type hotels by a long shot.
“Wonderful stay at Kamuela villas and suites sanur.”
We were looked after from start to finish, the staff were so very helpful, friendly and only too happy to attend to your every need. The resort was clean and tidy, the grounds were kept free from leaves every day, we stayed in a suite which was large clean and comfortable, the spa was huge,the only disappointment was the suite was quite dark as there were no windows,if you are staying as a coulpe we highly recommend the romantic dinner in one of the villas it was one of the highlights of our stay at Kamuela we would stay in a villa next time as the villas have more natural light and a private pool with outdoor living area. The resort spa was wonderful and very relaxing as were the cocktails around the pool !!!! The food and service in the restaurant was excellent and highly recommended. The beach was a five minute walk from the resort as were many restaurants and bars. Highly recommended if you would like to stay in Sanur Bali.
“A week of reat in Sanur”
Kamuela Villas provided a memorable stay in Sanur. From the moment we arrived the service provided was superb, the Villa was as described and provided a peaceful and memorable stay. i can't recommend a stay here more highly. Thanks to the staff and the tranquil setting of the Villas we enjoyed our stay.

The Kamuela Villas & Suites in Sanur were a pleasant surprise. Lots of shops and restaurants around, yet surprisingly quiet. Would go back and would recommend it to others.
“Liked this hotel.”
The Kamuela was a nice clean place to stay. The staff were great and most spoke English. The pool area is rather small; there is not much room to just relax in the sun. Their ad says they have a private beach but it is several blocks away and you must get a permission slip from the front desk each time you wish to use the private beach. The restaurant in the hotel was very good as were most of the restaurants in the area. The vendors on the streets and on the beach walk were very aggressive. They were constantly shouting at us to come to their shops and trying to push things on us when we did enter. Someone should tell them that if they would just leave people alone to look around they would sell more.
