I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions. It is very convieniently located half a block away from the Airport Bus Stop. The first time I stayed there the room was very small and had a musty smell to it. The second time the room was on the first floor and was much larger and more modern and very nice. The staff at the desk were excellent. Very helpful and friendly.

Location - right at the end of Queen St. Convenient to everything in Auckand, 5 minutes walk to main transport terminus; 6 minutes to ferry terminals for exploring the north shore and some of the island; 6 minutes from main pick up point of long haul coaches to rest of N.Island. Restaurants - didnt eat in hotel - within 10 minutes walk of hotel there are 10's of restaurants of all varieties, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Amenities - clean, not noisy (as some previous reviews had said), friendly helpful staff.

“Pretty good for the price”

Stayed here for 2 nights to recover from jet lag after arriving in NZ. Room clean and comfortable only minor gripe would be that the room overlooked Queen Street so quite noisy at night. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on food but lots of good inexpensive restaurants/bars in the surrounding area

On the main street so noise can be an issue. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was small but on holidays it didn't matter. Room maintenance a little variable but never enough to be a real issue. Five minutes from the harbour and main rail/bus hub. The tariff was very competitive probably due to the time of year.

“Amazing Expedia deal, awesome location, good time!”

I found the hotel as a last minute deal on Expedia and I was so delighted with the amazing deal I received! The hotel was just down the road from my friend's hotel and on the main street, Queen St, which was excellent. The free city bus went past the door! The airport shuttle bus run by MEXX dropped me off right outside. The kitchenette in the room was a Godsend, and saved me heaps of cash as I could cook my own breakie and have toast and tea whenever I wanted to! My only problem was my dishes were not washed or stacked away after the first use, so I complained and it was done well after that. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Baggage stowage before my flight was also very helpful. The gym, sauna and spa pool also great! My room was quiet, and very comfortable. I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone. I will definitely use this hotel again when we go to Auckland.
