We loved this place. The rooms are large and well decorated. The two story villas in the complex look out on lagoons. Each villa has a butler who can help you with any needs plus the large Al Qsar hotel is the official "lobby" for the villas if you need a taxi or other central services of a hotel. You feel very private, but don't sacrifice services. Much nicer than staying in a high rise.

Still the hotel of a choice in Dubai but the exclusivity is fading somewhat. Minor issues start to appear (e.g. the shower heads in our room didn't work properly and water temperature difficult to keep). For that sort of money, Al Qasr located next door might be a more sensible option.

I booked this hotel as a surprise trip for my husbands 50th birthday. From the moment we checked in the staff have been great, never too busy to help you and very polite.
The facilities at the hotel including the use of the water park are great.
We had an ocean facing room which was massive, very clean and we couldn't fault it at all.
They even left a bottle of bubbles and a large chocolate cake to celebrate my husbands birthday which we thought was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
