I like the room, the balcony, and the overall appearance of the hotel.The property itself was beautiful.
Unfortunately, my birthday experience was ruined by poor room service customer service. When I called to order food, I was repeatedly transferred back and forth between two employees. As someone who uses an accessibility device for Deaf and Hard of Hearing communication, this was especially frustrating. I eventually asked for a manager, who handled my order professionally and made sure my food was delivered. I appreciate the manager's help, but the experience left a negative impression.
I was also disappointed by the nightclub experience. As a hotel guest celebrating my birthday, I asked if there was any special access or VIP accommodation and was told no. After seeing the long line, I ended up returning to my room and missing my dinner reservation.
The day pool party was the highlight of my stay. The staff were friendly, the food was good, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. However, the seating rentals were extremely expensive.
Another downside was the location. Transportation costs were very high, with Uber rides often costing $60-$80 each way. Because of this, I was unable to enjoy all the activities I had planned.
While the room and pool area were excellent, the poor room service experience, expensive transportation, and disappointing birthday experience mean I would not stay here again.

Clean rooms

Beautiful view at breakfast dining room.
Variety of fresh fruit, sweet bread and coffee for breakfast.

AC did not work well, which made it very hard to keep room comfortable. We enjoyed the property with that one exception. The checking was a great experience.

Location was amazing, across the street from Waikiki beach. We had a partial ocean view which faced west so the views from the room, especially in the evening, were great. I can't speak for the Seascape tower as we were placed in the Beachside tower but I wouldn't stay on that side of the resort again if I had a choice. The room we stayed in was dated yet partially renovated. Some newer fixtures and furnishings however the hinges on all of the doors were rusted, shower fixtures had really bad limescale buildup, and the wallpaper seemed like it was lifting at the seams. A little disappointing for the price point but it has an ABC store connected to it so you don't have to leave the building for last minute needs, which was really convenient. Housekeeping staff was super friendly and accommodating. 3.5/5
