The hotel was good, clean, well maintained and the staff were very helpful. Ideally located with the tram stops of Letzigrund and Albisriederplatz only a short walk away with the Migros convenience store also handily nearby. We opted for the breakfast buffet which was excellent and the hotel also has a restaurant which after we got over the shock of the prices in Zurich, became our go to for dinner with a good menu and attentive staff who looked after us very well. We did have a problem with the toilet in our room which kept running after it had been flushed but after reporting it to reception it was promptly fixed and wasn't really a huge problem. Upon check-in, the front desk deducted a 50 CHF security fee per night which I was refunded when checking out and it might be worthwhile to bear that in mind if you are travelling on a budget. Overall the Crowne Plaza is an excellent hotel, in a quiet area of Zurich and I would have no hesitation in staying there again.
