The Forts Walking Track Waterpark Holidays

I have used the Holburn previously many times over the past 10 years. That is why I booked there this trip. I was really disappointed. The property is now very tired looking and in need of a complete refurbishment. My apartment had many cockroaches running around the unit so I had no choice but to put all food etc in the fridge at all times. Thank goodness there were cafes and eateries nearby. The reception staff seemed to keep strange irregular hours, so connecting with them was difficult. Also, read their cancellation policy. They do not refund. Overall, I would not stay there again as it wasn't a pleasant stay.

Great location easy walking to most thingß. Only thing missing was a lift.

The location was great . The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept on avoid level 2 room 8 . It was as hard as a rock , perhaps reception could have mattress toppers on hand should you need it which would have made all the difference from a good stay to a great stay .

Beautiful big room, renovations happening atm, so a bit chaotic, it will be nice once it's all done and all the kinks worked out, here are a few things that should be noted atm but will probably be rectified over time. No parking available, had to try to get street parking, which is paid parking through weekdays. No hot water in the shower. Renovations happening atm and the paint and glue smell in the foyer and hallways was strong. Renovated room was nice but the floor still felt dusty and had sand grit. The safe locked me out, no big deal, just had to get reception to come up with the key. The aircon dripped constantly behind the bed head.

Good location, clean facilities, nice separate areas, tropical gardens.

Room was tidy but definitely needs a proper clean . Staff were lovely . We stayed 5 nights and room wasn’t serviced until the 4th day which was disappointing especially having to ask where to put rubbish etc

Friendly staff. However, rooms are outdated and carpet felt like something sticky was left on it. The place is rather tired.
