Shire of Cardwell Waterpark Holidays

We recently stayed at the Big4 Lucinda on our way south to Townsville. The Park is beautifully maintained, set amongst tropical foliage, very picturesque. The onsite cabin we had was brilliant, roomy, well appointed with everything you needed. Close to the Lucinda Hotel for a beautiful meal. On your travels North or South We strongly recommend staying at the Big$4Lucinda.

The owners have done a fabulous job updating a classic building with higher-end furnishings and appliances. Our room was spacious, had recently been updated including the bathroom, and the owners had done everything possible to make the experience as good as it could be. However, I must forewarn guests that the location can be extremely noisy as it's adjacent to the highway. Our room was close to the street and we had a tough time getting the kids to bed due to the noise from trucks. I realize the owner can't change the location, but perhaps double glazed windows could reduce the impact from the traffic? Overall, I was impressed with the efforts of the owner to create a great place for a stopover but our unit had more noise than we expected.
