Whitsunday Islands Scuba Diving Holidays

Our room had a cockroach the first night. (We travel a lot and understand this is possible in the tropics) however I called housekeeping and the front desk everyday to get the room fogged or sprayed. They promised each day but were non responsive. Never showed up. Water was turned off 11-3 in our room one day. We got the paper notification under our door saying it would happen ( received the day after the fact) Asked to have rooms cleaned anytime before 1 each day. The only day they were there was checkout day. There was same garbage in the hall for the first 3 days. Property is dated. The guest services were polite and good with the bags at check in and out and the beds were well made each day. People were pleasant however, it seemed like lip service so we just stopped asking. I even sent an email. Hotel view is spectacular. Beach is lovely. With the exception of the bell boys the service was underwhelming
