Beautiful historical hotel! Stayed there few times and always enjoyed it. Nice mountain view sunsets if you are staying in the garden facing room, and of course luxury of viewing Promenade and the sea if you take sea view room. Very friendly staff and great breakfast, super comfortable beds and marble bathrooms.

Great location, lovely staff, spacious and clean rooms. Great stay. Will stay there again

Wonderful facilities

We booked to stay here during MIPIM, very affordable and was hoping for a nice experience, but nothing too great… we were proven wrong! The hotel is fantastic, the decor is great and aesthetically pleasing, staff are lovely and friendly, location is great for short walk to the beach / promenade and also to Nice Ville train station, also the trams too for airport travel. Honestly couldn’t have been a more perfect location, with a great hotel and room. I actually miss the bathroom already, the tiles are amazing, lighting is ideal and water pressure is perfect in the shower. We sadly didnt get chance to taste the breakfast but heard great things. If we return to Nice, I’ll sure be staying here and having the breakfast too. You also get access to Hotel Splendid next door, which doesn’t appear to be as nice of a hotel as Gonoud is, but it does have the rooftop pool, jacuzzi and a great terrace for working on, relaxing and eating some food in their bar area. All around honestly a 10/10 place with all things considered. We nipped to 5* hotels on the last day for their terrace areas to work from, although they are glorious, it didn’t feel as homely and relaxing as Gonoud does. So on a grander scale, i would say it’s a 4* hotel, 9.2/10 overall even in comparison to ‘the big glorious hotels’, but I’d stay in Gonoud any time as preference!
