Gili Islands Romantic Holidays

Top spot, with well appointed, comfortable & quiet rooms (ocean pool villa is spacious). Excellent garden & grounds. Outside bathroom is the only annoyance, bitten by mozzies going to the loo or having a shower, but staff did supply mozzie spray which helped. Bit of a hard sell of the (very expensive) private cruise & massage on arrival, one argument over deceptive english language used to promote the happy hour cocktails, but all sorted out quickly & all staff were great, especailly at the main pool bar & garden restaurant. Top quality food for breakfast, lunch & dinner. One of the best wood-fired pizzas we've had (the Romana - but you have to pay extra for some cheese!). Wine list was a bit pricey, but excellent quality. Would return with enthusiam if travelling to Gili T.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice. Location was quiet.

2 Great pool areas and good buffet breakfast. Thought the rooms/ resort was a bit dated and needed renovations. Also gardens required a little more care, and needed landscaping with more tall palms/trees to offer more shade. Many staff did not understand and spoke very little English. Personally not a 4 star level hotel.

The restaurant is pretty good and the beach chairs are included which is convenient. The beach itself is quite rocky so I’d recommend water shoes. The rooms were nice and comfy. The staff didn’t seem super knowledgeable of rentals and events but it was fairly straightforward to find what you needed on the island.
