Both resorts are fantastic and highly recommended but this was our favourite. A tropical island with a reef full with fish. We also had days trips to Komodo and diving which were great experiences. The food is lovely. Good variation including a bbq theme one night but a great mix of Indonesian and Western dishes. The thing that stuck with us was the fantastic team at both resorts. "We booked two rooms for 1 night as we have an excursion the next day. We booked mainly because the reviews were good and they had airport transportation to give us the ease of getting to the hotel. However, even after confirming time and flight information and us giving them notification when we landed and they confirmed someone’s waiting for us at the airport no one came. We tried messaging through Expedia and did not get a response. Good thing we had the hotel number and was able to reach them...
"Location far from the city center. Room not clean, bedding old and used. Electricity damaged. TV not working. Breakfast poor (basic)."
"Pros: helpful and nice staff, clean bedroom and bathroom. Cons: absolute lack of maintenance, the hotel was build few years ago and since then there was no maintenance at all. Paint is peeling of the walls and ceiling, gardens without flowers, common areas look like construction yard, there is no space to hang around, sit together, etc. Fotos has been taken in the time the hotel was opened. Now it looks much different."
