Though this hotel is in Kabukicho, it never sounded like it was. The hotel is exactly what you’d imagine for a Tokyo hotel—clean, efficient, with smaller economy rooms. After all, Tokyo is out there, not in the hotel room. We had no problems with our stay whatsoever!

My stay at Hotel Gracery had some positives, but there are several areas that need real improvement.
The biggest concern is the area immediately outside the hotel. At night, the surrounding streets become crowded with extremely intoxicated people, and there was visible vomit and trash. It felt uncomfortable walking in after dark, and the hotel should consider stronger security presence or clearer guidance for guests about late-night safety.
Inside the hotel, the experience was much better—the lobby and common spaces were clean and well maintained. However, the rooms themselves are very small, even by Tokyo standards, and the bathroom had a noticeable mildew smell that made the space feel less fresh than expected.
Pricing inside the hotel was also a bit surprising. The bar felt overpriced, and several basic comfort items—like higher-quality pillows—required an additional fee, which seemed unnecessary considering the nightly rate.
Lastly, staff engagement was minimal. The front desk team was polite, but not warm, and the concierge never engaged or offered assistance. A little more hospitality and proactive support would go a long way in improving the guest experience.
Overall, Hotel Gracery has potential because of its clean interior but the surrounding environment, room quality, pricing structure, and guest engagement need attention to make it a more comfortable and welcoming stay.

Very curtious staff, great lounge , good selection of food and very good non-alcoholic drinks during cocktail hour. This hotel is connected to queens mall downstairs. Also subway train is conveniently located downstairs.

This was an excellent hotel stay in Tokyo! I've been to the city several times over the past few years and stayed at all sorts of hotels from 3-stars to 5-stars and this one was by far my favorite.
Location/Transport:
- 5min walk from Shimbashi station, very convenient
- 5min walk from Higashi-Ginza station
- 5min walk from Shiodome station
- 8min walk from Ginza station
- Taxi stop right outside
- All of Ginza at your doorstep!
- 8min walk from Hamarikyū Gardens
- Lawson right downstairs, FamiMa and 7/11 a stone's throw away
Amenities:
- Luggage storage & delivery service
- Currency exchange
* NO laundry/dryer machines though.
Cleanliness: 4.5/5 stars, you can decide how often you want your room cleaned and to what extent.
Service: 5/5 stars, they have very friendly bilingual staff who are willing to meet all your needs!
I did use their laundry concierge service for two special wash items and was very happy with the service. It was a little pricey but considering the speed and care with which they handled my knit dress, it was worth it for me.
We did not have hotel breakfast or eat at the attached restaurant since we were in Ginza with so many other options nearby, so I cannot comment on those services.
I'll definitely strongly consider this hotel again for my next trip to Tokyo!

Palace, Hotel Tokyo is hotel perfection. The hotel itself is gorgeous. It is kept in meticulous condition. The staff goes above and beyond to help you. The food is excellent. The rooms are clean and extremely quiet. The area is lovely. This was my second stay there. I cannot wait to go back.
