overall, had an amazing stay! the valet staff were welcoming as soon as we arrived on property. check-in was easy and room was nice! would stay again :)

2 bedroom, 2 bathroom was spacious and the view was great. Dishes were stocked and the decor was nice. I loved the marble appearing floors. Security was heavy on all floors and desk/valet staff was amazing! My kids loved the basketball court, pool, and balcony views. My wedding stay went perfect.

On a positive: check in was relatively fast and accommodating, beautiful views of the ocean. On the other hand, room furniture was old, room was consistently not made up until early evening hours, phone calls for hotel services were not answered for up to 10 minutes, daily parking fees were unreasonably high.

Great staff, clean facility, great location, would stay again. The only negative was how busy the elevators got during morning time frame when everybody was heading out. Other than that had a great experience.

The location is just steps from the beach and Santa Monica Pier, with consistently warm, attentive service that guests rave about. FIG’s farm-to-table California fare being a particular favorite. The Bungalow lounge adds a fun, bohemian vibe with its outdoor patio and laid-back atmosphere.

Missing some of the positive experiences from most hotels. Cleaning was adequate. Had to request linens to accommodate all guests. A piece of tissue paper was on the floor outside of our room during the entire. Even though housekeeping was up and dow the hallway.

I rated this hotel "mid." Biggest perk: Location! Cleanliness- fine, Staff- fine. However, I think the two biggest concerns was we had a leaky toliet and contacted the front desk. Someone came right away to look at it and said they would fix the issue the next day when we were out of the room. If they fixed it, there was no communication. The towel used to soak up water was still on the floor. Toliet did still leak the next night, but we were leaving early the next day. Otherwise, the other concern was that hours after a pool party on Saturday, it seemed the pool area and deck were still really filthy. I understand things take awhile to clean, but if the party ended at 4 pm and we're at the pool at 7 pm, I thought it would look much better. I didn't even want to use the pool

Good price for being walkable to downtown. Loved the historical pictures throughout hotel. Spencers restaurant next door fantastic!
