Would likely stay again considering the location, convenience and general style of the apartment. Spacious and roomy 2 bedroom modern styled apartment with high ceilings. Bathroom plus ensuite on main with seperate laundry room. Well equiped for a long stay. Good outlook to the NW. it was useful to find a guide booklet with all the appliance instructions. Car park has very reasonably sized spaces with easy access, although one needs to make many turns to reach the higher levels. While the apartment had many newer features there were a number of minor maintenance needs that hopefully are on the to do list. The most significant the sliding blinds on the NW facing patio doorways were missing sections and not all interlocking as per new requiring some care when handling and not fully closing off the glass. We were not a fan of the style of modern low backed lounges provided, considering our less than youthful bodies. The outlook of the apartment provided in the complex will vary depending on the floor (up to 20) and whether facing the NW, NE or SE. Worth confirming prior to booking. Cannot say how our appartment compares with any others offered in the complex.

The room was lovely, beautiful, smells amazing. Easy access to the pool which I loved. The staff was amazing! Helpful, polite, prompt in resolving things - bedside lamp was not working, came to replace. You also need to ask the staff how to connect the TV to your hotspot if you want to watch Youtube / netflix. It is not a given even though it is a smart TV. I think these information could be mentioned upfront to guests, and not wait for them to ask. The initiative would be great. Only small issue when I checked in, there was a used towel behind the shower door, i reckon house keeping did not do a thorough check. Otherwise, the reception took on the feedback really well and promptly. I checked in late arvo, the cafe did not have much snack options to dine, the top restaurant /bar is only opened 5pm? So i have to wait. Pizza was amazing! Oh parking was abit of a meh when I was trying to find the hotel. They only gave directions to the parking after I circled around twice and parked across the streets, to go in and enquire. I would appreciate parking directions to be made known / informed prior to arriving - perhaps information can be send to email first etc. Once I got the info, the parking was easy. It's just hidden.

I selected this property because the images showed a view of the river, marina and ocean but on check it the room barely had windows so I paid for an upgrade to a room with a balcony that turned out to be about two square meters and looked over the seedy back street on the second floor with no lift. The included breakfast was very limited so I opted to just have a takeaway coffee that I was charged for. The staff was pleasant and that is the best thing I can say, unfortunately.

I took my mother out for a night at Ardo and dinner at Terasu restaurant as a treat for her 84th Birthday. We booked a room with two separate beds. It even said on the confirmation email two beds. When we booked in at reception the room only had one bed and they said they had no record of the request for 2. Even though it stated 2 on the confirmation. They sent someone up to rectify this. While at reception we booked into Terasu Japanese restaurant. When we tuned up for dinner they had no sign of our reservation. After standing around for a while they managed to find us a table. Food and staff at Terasu were excellent. I loved the Japanese donuts for dessert. I would say the rooms at the casino are much better. I don't know how Ardo is rated 5 star. Maybe 3 at best! The only thing 5 stars is the price!
