Dominican Republic Honeymoon Holidays

Cleanliness was great, staff were very attentive and quick to respond to requests. SUPER friendly guys that handled our luggage and shuttled us to and from our villa to the main building during check in and check out. The pools were beautiful and the property was very well maintained. The food was also excellent at The Market and Los Gallos. The food trucks on the beach also were really good! (the snack bar/concession stand were not as good as the food truck.) I was not that impressed with restaurants Ciao and Toro. If we had been required to pay extra for these meals I would've been disappointed. Toro in particular was busy, loud and more like a cafeteria setting as opposed to a higher end eatery. (which is how it is marketed in my opinion.) My only other suggestion would be to offer a few more gluten free options at the restaurants, especially desserts. A family member was only able to have ice cream at the Cone, or chocolate muffins (pre wrapped) at the Market and they weren't always available. Overall a really great experience and I would recommend this resort.

Extremely disappointed about Bahia Ambar resort The food overall was terrible….the Meat restaurant….terrible quality of meat/the fish market what a joke !! Front desk poor welcoming customer service no recommendations as new arrival for accommodation, activities, restaurants… To tried to book a restaurant was a challenge as a guest deck and the guy was absolutely not happy to do this this resort was the worse one i experienced, you need to train your staff how to welcome peoples….
