Wonderful place to stay! Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice pool area and property. 5-10 minute walk to beach which was fantastic. Good area to walk to shopping and restaurants nearby. Entire staff were fantastic, extremely nice and super helpful. Jules at the help/events desk was excellent at listening about what we wanted to do, coming with ideas that fit, coming up with options, then booking our tours, explained everything beautifully, answered our questions, and she was extremely nice and very knowledgeable.

Property was very nice overall and well located near the beach and restaurants. My only major complaint is the connecting rooms you can hear literally EVERYTHING in the next room, it feels like you’re sharing your room with strangers. I would stay again only if I didn’t have a room with a connecting door.

Room I was assigned was occupied by someone else when I got to the room. It was marketed as a quiet place to rest away from the noise of the main area - but it was the sea world of hotels. Also they charged by for 2 nights for a 22hr stay because I arrived early in the morning.

Unfortunately this hotel was under renovation and we were not advised when we booked. There was jackhammering from 9am-3pm daily and one day no water in the rooms from 9am-1.30pm . When we spoke with the front officer manager she just yelled at us and told us Expedia should have told us about the renovations and it was their fault . She did not care and did not want to resolve the problem with a room move or any form of compensation at over $1000 Aud a night we should have advised us of the noise and hotel being half closed and no water. The hotel is in a great location the other staff were friendly and doing their best. When it is finished at the end of the year a great hotel to stay right on the beach. Our room was old but really great position and balcony overlooking the beach. Other than the renovation and Front Office Manager it was a great hotel.
