I felt overall for the price I paid for my room the
that this hotel is overpriced for the amenities
and service level. To many additional upgrade and VIP charges in addition to what you are already paying. We were also supposed to Receive a small welcome gift everyday but you only received this if you stood in the front desk

Yes it's secluded. Yes it is a large property that requires a lot of walking. The rooms are slightly dated.
It's all made up by the attention and care from the staff at the Ritz. My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon. We were treated with the utmost care from the kind folks there. The property is well manicured and clean. The pools were fun and the golf cart ride for the long walk to the beach is a must.
Unfortunately we left with a slight sour note at the end of the trip. I left my Nike Dri-Fit hoodie in the armoire the entire time during my stay... Never took it out, and only had it there for the weather back home.
Although it was my mistake, I left my sweater behind. I contacted the hotel an hour after I checked out. And somehow, the staff "did not locate" the sweater. It was frustrating to have to keep asking for updates for a sweater. Until lost and found finally admitted they didn't find a sweater.

This suite has a lanai that has a solid wall which means that you cannot sit on the lanai and enjoy any sort of view. One of the two loungers is completely broken and should be removed from the lanai. The handle on the dryer comes off in your hand.

The room was very clean. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The reception staff were especially helpful when my husband had to go to the hospital and we had to cut our trip short. I especially want to thank Michael, our waiter for his concern and help. It was much appreciated.

I liked everything except the dining service. The staff was unfriendly and rude. They should not work there.-
they kept us in the bar in excess of 15 minutes even after 4 tables had been open We had to walk over to tell them that tables had been open.
