Great value stay. Room was clean & modern.

Hibiscus East certainly beat the Bure on the water where i stayed last. The view, the breeze, comfort and stillness is unforgettable. Ill be back and cannot wait.

Whilst everything was clean and tidy &the view was unbelievable.... the actual rooms are certainly showing their age and feeling really tired. There was a smell of mould in the bathroom, and everything was just feeling pretty old and tired, particularly in the bathrooms. Given the cost of the accommodation, I would have expected a higher standard. Our room had space for a couch in front of the big TV, but just had two little bucket chairs to view from.. I know it sounds nit-picky, but it wasn't very comfortable to sit and watch something on the tv for any prolonged period of time. (Not that we really wanted to do that too much while we were in tropical paradise, but it just felt like an odd layout choice for the rooms) Breakfast was great, and the staff were wonderful. So all in all, not a bad experience, but I think it could have been elevated

Room was very clean modern and well maintained. The hot tub was great would have liked option to have room cleaned daily, missed this as we stayed for 4 nights which means room not serviced

Amazing place to stay! Loved the staff they helped us with everything we needed and provided helpful recommendations, loved the views, the location, the amenities in our apartment, it was like a little paradise!

First room was terrible! Spiderwebs, and very unclean, barely 3 stars, dated and very dirty! The bed was terrible! probably one of the worst ever in our travels - the mattress completely sank and couldn’t sleep! We got upgraded to the next category which was acceptable and close to 4.5 star perhaps. Dinner at the Pacific was average and expensive. Not good value. Breakfast was probably 3.5 star. The best dinner and highlight was Amici’s which we were fortunate to experience on our last evening. The island itself is spectacular and one of the most beautiful in the world. I think what let the overall place down was the lack of cleanliness and the lack of attention to detail as well as the food. The staff were lovely. However the service when we were ringing to request things was terrible as most of the time our calls were not answered. Overall a paradisaic experience let down by a lack of resources, passion and training - let down by humans - a paradise deserves perfection at least close to it .. the intercontinental fell very short of the mark and what could’ve been.

Lovely infinity pool. Shame it’s not heated. This the jewel in the crown. Nice enough apartment. Could do with more glasses but actually the kitchen is quite decent. Bathroom needs a deep clean and the balcony door could be more secure. Would recommend and stay again though, although it’s quite pricey compared to some other nearby blocks.
