The Cons
Got there after a very long long flight only to be told that our room wasnt ready. They told us to come back which we did and they told the room wouldn't bw ready till 6 because the person before us requested a late check out and was approved. What business model is that? If a room is already reserved for someone else why approve an extension. needless to say, they had to put is in another room for one night and moved us ti our the one ww paid for since we requested an ocean front view.
Also be aware it's not a true beach front hotel as they market them selves as. You have to cross a street to get to the beach, meaning you have to walk a good 5 minutes to get any beach chairs etc.

Beautiful resort, we enjoyed our time there. Reason for 4 stars is because of the food and everything being overpriced. Bed pillows could have been better. Roy’s is the best restaurant there- the other places did not have great food and it’s very expensive. If you’re going to gouge on pricing - at least make the food taste good. Sunscreen that costs $10 at home was $40 in the gift shop. I get that resorts charge a higher price- but 4xs the amount is just gross. It does affect your stay when everything is so overpriced.
