I love this place. Perfect location,incredibly helpful staff and having a kitchen is priceless.

We booked the lower ground floor premier apartment for our recent visit to London. On arrival, our very cheerful receptionist informed us that we had been moved to the first floor as the lighting on the lower ground was limited. I had no issue with this but when we got up to the floor via the lift, we found that we had to go up 15 stairs with a large heavy suitcase, then there were another 4 stairs in a very narrow corridor. The room itself was very nice and clean, however it did not appear to be as spacious as the one we had booked. The table beside the kitchenette was very close to the bed and there was not as much space as we had expected, based on our original booking. The safe in the room did not have any instructions as to how to set the code and there was no sign of the wifi password in the room. However, the reception staff were very helpful. Be aware that the rooms have laminate flooring, so you are very aware of the people in the room above moving about - which was not ideal as they were doing this at around 5am which definitely disturbed our sleep. The location of the accommodation was ideal as it was just round the corner from Gloucester Road tube station and there were a wide variety of restaurants in the general vicinity. The Royal Albert Hall was a 15 minute walk away and the Natural History Museum was only a 5 minute walk from the premises. I would recommend this property for a visit to London but would request a different room if visiting again.

Excellent customer service at check in. Staff asked to see ID for confirmation of name on booking. There is a £50 deposit which is authorised /debited then released/refunded. Timescale on getting your deposit back after check out depends on the type of card used. Staff explained services available with open times for breakfast, gym/pool and bar during check in which was great. The main reception and area on ground floor very spacious with some seats around the place. The room was just okay, seemed a little dated. I was disappointed with the general condition of the room. Old carpets with stains, bathroom sink not working well, chair with dust on it. There was room safe for anyone who uses it to keep valuables safe. Nice shower with usual shower gel/ shampoo. Bed was comfortable. Great location, very close to the airport. Local transport brilliant. Breakfast was excellent, good attentive staff. Nice, clean and well lit eating area. Check out is at 12pm which is great, some other hotels around the area have 11am check out. Check out again great customer service from the staff. Overall excellent customer service as you would expect from Marriot, it was just the room which could do with a refresh.

Very clean elegant hotel, a bit of a walk to Regent street for shopping. Breakfast was good.

There was construction during our stay. Make sure to get a room that is not close to it.

Attention to detail and high levels of service made this a stay to remember! Took excellent care of me and my family all week-cannot recommend enough! If Expedia had a 10 star system, I’d give them an 11!
