For the money I paid, I got a good night's sleep in a clean bed.
The room was very dated, the carpet was badly stained in various places.
I didn't use the pool or the sauna, but they looked ok and not many people there. I suspect that people might get put off if travelling alone, as there's no lockable lockers there.
Overall it was ok for the money I paid.

Sofitel Aukland Viaduct is in a great location for experiencing the harbor life of Aukland. The staff is awesome, especially in the welcome lounge, which is quite a different experience than a typical standing desk. The room was cleaned regularly including more than expected and the supplies of coffee and tea was superb.

Great location for exploring Auckland! Room was clean and very nice. Staff were kind and helpful, especially Peter at the bar! Would reccomend if visiting auckland, especially if you plan on taking a ferry anywhere for a day trip (walking distance to the ferries and other public transport).
