Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast on the veranda was awesome with beautiful fresh fruits daily and a stunning view, we didn’t use the pool as the weather wasn’t ideal for swimming, hands down our best host for our trip was Andre and his 2 gorgeous fur babies, we felt safe and were very well cared for, thanks Andre :)

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We arrived, anticipating an attractive and heated pool. We discovered a very dirty, shabby out of date pool that was cold. After much communication with Expedia, the owners of the hotel turned up the temperature on the pool. Unfortunately, because the hotel was listed as a four-star hotel, but was maybe at least a 2 1/2 star or three star hotel, we decided to go somewhere else. The pool was too small to in fact, be usable, despite very misleading photos. Even though we were very unhappy and agreed to pay for the two out of the four nights, the owners refused to refund any the remaining two nights we had paid for. The photos of the hotel and the Expedia ratings are both very misleading. If one was expecting a 2 to 3 star hotel that was pretty rundown but not unpleasant. This would be OK. Unfortunately, that’s not what the ratings or the photos led us to expect.

The motel was perfectly positioned for access to amenities, restaurants and sights while being away from the street noise. We thankfully upgraded to a one bedroom apartment which was beautiful. My sister stayed in a poolside room and couldn’t open her doors or windows due to people looking in from the pool. I would stay again in the room we had. Very nice and lovely staff.

Communication with Sonya & Robin, the managers, was excellent. Location perfect to all amenities. The apartment and surrounding communal areas was very clean and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay including laundry facilities, bbqs and a car park. We would definitely recommend these apartments for a stay in beautiful Port Douglas
