Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Booked for 9 nights.The room was dirty & smelled. Mouldy food left in the drawer & fridge. Promised supplies not provided. On complaining the first response said we were lying about the supplies and in any case there was a shop nearby. No mention of the cleanliness. Eventually offered an alternative room by which time we had already booked an alternative as we wanted to leave asap. They asked us to send photos and whilst they didn’t dispute the state of the room they have refused any refund stating the room was non-refundable. Expedia / VRBO say they can’t assist. Warning when booking with Expedia - make sure to check whether you are booking a hotel or a VRBO property.
