From the moment you walk in, everything was well arranged. Staff is friendly, hotel has gorgeous art and has a sense of serenity in a bustling city like Rio. It’s worth its 5 stars and awards!
The buildings in Santa Teresa are lovely and there are quite a few restaurants in walking distance also close to the Steps.
Overall I felt safe in this neighbourhood and I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Good location for some of Rio’s key tourist attractions. Also close to bars and noisy nightlife. Area has many vagrants and people sleeping rough and constant smell of urine.
