Hotel Tradition Julen offered a perfect long-weekend stay. Perfectly located in beautiful Zermatt, well kept and very friendly and service-minded staff this will certainly be where we stay next time as well.

Great service and super clean. It was in a great location, close to a lot of the amenities that Zermatt had to offer. Many added perks to staying here from breakfast which is included with your stay, to the spa and tea time offerings daily. The rooms were sound proof, spacious and cozy. We would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the Zermatt area.

The Tradition Julen is a fantastic hotel with an incredible location offering stunning views of the Matterhorn. The staff was as friendly and helpful as could be, the room was beautiful and the breakfasts were amazing. Very, very easy walking distance (a few blocks) to the heart of Zermatt.

Great Hotel in Great Location

Beautiful little hotel in perfect location. The rooms have authentic mountain chalet chic and are very quiet, clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel offers good quality food, although the portions are rather on the smaller side. Breakfast buffet is great and offers plenty of quality food and beverages.

We stated at Hotel Julen for 2 days May 7 & 8th to go up the Matterhorn. Our room was very nice and very clean, staff were very friendly and welcoming. The included breakfast had everything anyone could desire. We had supper at one of the restaurants ( Schaferstube) in the hotel on our 2nd night. For those looking for a traditional Swiss atmosphere and food we would highly recommend it. We had the beef fondue which was excellent. Location is excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Julien is charming and the staff is so friendly and attentive to their guests. The rooms are so nice, many extras that you don't see at other hotels. My only negative comment is that there didn't seem to be appropriate covering on the bathroom window for night time use, and it was difficult to reach close to the bathroom mirror to apply makeup.
