"This place is extremely clean, you can always spot 5-7 people just cleaning the windows, floor, etc. The property has a lot of amenities that great to use. The place felt very family friendly and I think is meant more for couples and families. Food was good the buffet had wonderful options as someone who is vegetarian however I really wished the beans did not contain lard. This greatly limited the options to eat many items that otherwise could've been enjoyed by vegans and vegetarians. That being said the restaurants do a good job of labeling what is vegetarian and the chefs try to accommodate as much as they can. They say the sports bar is open 24/7 however after 11 pm they have fruit and small cold items in the fridge but the bar is open. The staff always seemed very enthusiastic to help. The RIU party is definitely a must go and gives the experience of going out without having to worry about the logistics or safety. Overall a wonderful experience and I highly recommend."

"All the restaurants had to have a reservation which was hard to do. You could also only make one reservation per room a day. Staff was friendly but kinda few and far between. Service at restaurants was mediocre at best. Drink refills were non existent and it was really disappointing compared to other resorts in the Cancun area. The kids club was amazing and the water slides were really fun."

"The stay was truly amazing, the food far exceeded my expectations and having free lunch/early dinner room service was amazing! Like seriously, that chicken sandwich they have is ridiculously delicious. Every restaurant had a different cocktail menu, that paid tribute to each cuisine perfectly! The staff were so nice, I didn’t expect to be waited on in the lobby but there they were! Giving us cocktails in fancy glasses, nuts, etc. My crew and I drank at a new bar everyday, the sports bar, Piano Bar, swim up, various restaurants, the lobby, etc, and they were all amazing. All the staff had fun making us drinks, did a great job on the “surprise me, I like a fruity cocktail!” and just remembering out go tos. The piano bar was my personal favorite solely because they had the beautiful music, amazing drink presentation, and lovely staff. They have hookah in there too which isn’t my thing but an option for those who like it! The entire resort was gorgeous, the people were great, and the service everywhere was like a high end restaurant! My only complaints are the fact that since it’s super humid in Cancun, the AC needs to be severely upgraded, it was sometimes very humid in the restaurants and I felt like the room/lobby was the only true escape from the heat. The entertainment at the hotel was so so, but we went to Coco Bongo as advertised by the hotel and had so much fun there! Overall so amazing, will be going to another Ocean hotel again!"

"What a beautiful and amazing property!! We were a family of 4(2 adults 2 kids ages 10 and 11) and there was so many things to do here for all of us. The food was fantastic. We will be coming back again!"
