Wawona Glade

This family home, open all year round, is located in a quiet, secluded area, nestled in the forest. It has 3 bedrooms, with a king size bed in the master bedroom, a queen-size bed in the second bedroom with it's own television, and two twin beds in the third bedroom with it's own television as well. Also available is a queen-size, inflatable bed with metal frame. The children will love playing in the kids cottage, perfect size for your little ones.


The Wawona golf course is a mile away from the house, are the Wawona Hotel, the hotel's tennis court (available to non-hotel guests), the riding stables, the Pioneer History Museum, Stagecoach Rides and the Wawona Store and Gift Shop.
This fully equipped cabin has a 51 inch HDTV, with 3-D, surround sound, DVD/CD player with DVD's and a iPod dock. There is also a pool table/ping pong table, badminton equipment, a large deck with patio furniture, gas grill, and gas fireplace ready to use. The dining room table seats 8. Unlimited, free phone calls to U.S., and free, unlimited wireless internet as well.

Great house and great location!

This is a great house for Yosemite. Beautiful location and all the information we needed was provided so easily and everything was labeled so well we never even had any questions. Our GPS did work the entire time getting there so we never had any issues getting there. I stayed there with my husband, our 2 kids, 5 and 3, my mom and mother-in-law and the house was perfect size for us. The host provides a lot of essentials and it was an overall great stay and I would highly recommend.

Everything was provided. We loved the location and could not have asked for more. A beautiful setting to relax in after a day of hiking. I highly recommend this place to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.

The house was perfect for our group. I would recommend a different location for the children's playhouse, as it is rather close to the ravine. The playhouse is adorable and we loved all of the details, both inside and out!

The house was very clean, the location was perfect. It had a nice river in the back of the house, and perfect hills for sliding down the hill. The house was spacious.It was the perfect winter vacation! Will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend it .

Perfect House For Yosemite

Very Clean house that felt very much like home. Beds were comfortable and house had great amenities. Something we had not considered which was a huge asset was the house having a back up electric generator. Wawona was without power for about 24hrs but we had a generator and were able to function fine.

Spacious and Superbly Located

The floor plan of this house was a dream - two bedroom wings, ideal for parents vacationing with adult children. The entertainment areas and kitchen were spacious and very comfortable. And the bathrooms were commodious which is a real treat when traveling. The house was well appointed and well stocked with everyday needs. And of course Yosemite is outside the door - a few miles to the sequoia and a lovely longer drive to other areas of the park. One caution: there is no air conditioning so it can get warm.

Great house near Giant Sequoia's

This is a great house with everything that you need. Our only issue was the check in process - we never received our check in information however the cleaning person was still there when we arrived and helped with everything. Otherwise this is a wonderful home, private, with many decks and a playground and playhouse for kids. Plenty of space for my family of 6. Lot's of movies to choose from for down time. Close to one of the only stores in Yosemite, close to the river for swimming on a hot day, not too far from Yosemite valley for all the big sites and close to Mariposa grove with the Sequoia's. We really enjoyed our stay and this house!

Clean, but very dated

Very clean house, but quite dated. Location was nice and house was cleaned thoroughly upon arrival. There were not enough towels for our group- 5 towels for 7 people- not sure why. Also, there was no shampoo In bathrooms and the most unpleasant surprise was when we returned from a day of sightseeing to find a note taped on the dishwasher that it was broken- we left in the morning with a full dishwasher and came back the same way- with it full of dirty dishes. Overall, a decent house, but fell short of having the necessities provided.

Had a wonderful time the house was nice, the grounds were amazing and close enough to everything, but away from the crowds. Some things to keep in mind There is a drop off right behind the kids playhouse in the backyard but not really an issue for our 5 year old. There are trails behind the house and Yosemite is less than an hour away. The beds are a bit hard and the refrigerator is loud. You can get groceries at the 2 stores in town, but they are pricy. Tons of fun!

Beautiful home in a spectacular location

We held a sibling reunion in this fantastic home. The location is just outside Mariposa Grove inside Yosemite National Park. The home was very clean and very modern with plenty of room for all. The deck was fantastic with a gorgeous view of Mt. Raymond. The property was lovely and we spent time each day walking to see its beauty. Overall a perfect location and the owners were great.

Wawona Glade is a Wow Accomodation

Just returned from a five night stay at Wawona Glade. Our family group included three generations, the youngest almost three years old. Wawona Glade was an outstanding choice for our Yosemite/Wawona vacation accommodations. The house is beautiful, with a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, WiFi, extremely comfortable beds, and two full baths. We loved best the huge deck and view of Mt. Raymond. Nothing better than grilling on the deck in the evening and then having marshmallows over the firepit in the back yard area. Toddler enjoyed the swingset while the adults took a turn in the hammock.While there we hiked, visited the Mariposa Grove, and spent time in the Yosemite Valley. Two of us took one of the Ansel Adams photography workshops. We even made it over to Bodie - east of the park traveling via the Tioga Pass.After each day of outdoor activity we enjoyed returning to Wawona Glade to relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounding...a perfect setting. Other Pros: Check in was quick and owners provided information about directions to house, where to get groceries, etc. Answer email inquiry promptly.

Perfect vacation house

If you are staying in Yosemite, this house is perfect. We traveled with our son and daughter-in-law and our 2 year old grandson. To our delight, the house is baby-proof as far as a safe deck, locks on the gates on the stairs, a play house, ad swing set... A baby bed is available from the redwoods for a nominal fee which worked out great. The house is exactly as described only better once you arrive. Wonderful view of the mountains, quiet, space to walk in the yard, and an easy drive to park attractions. The house was clean and spacious. We used the Weber grill every night and it was awesome. We hated to leave! The owners are very helpful and easy to work with during the rental process. It's a little pricey for a vacation rental but when you evaluate the other homes around, it's well worth the cost. I'd recommend this home to everyone! I'll go back if we had that opportunity.
