NEWLY RENOVATED by a local craftsmen and located in Yosemite West, our chalet welcomes you home after any adventure. A beautiful custom open concept kitchen w/ dining. Refinished baths with a full tub & stand alone shower with built-in bench. New furnishings, tempurpedic quality mattresses, AND enjoy the SUNSETS from the comfort of home, as you are surrounded by the beauty of natural treescapes on 2 covered levels of private patio decks.

The space
- A direct walkway from the driveway to front door without stairs allows handicap access.
(unlike many other homes in the area that require a hike up long or multiple staircases).
- New hardwood flooring, custom cabinetry, and furnishings throughout.
- Custom kitchen, complete with essential cookware and starter paper products to kick off your stay.
- Pick up some firewood, too and get cozy by the fireplace in the living room.
- Renovated bathrooms, now featuring a tub and walk-in shower with built-in bench, and always completed with fresh towels for max occupancy.
-Eco-Friendly bath amenities - shampoo, conditioner, & body wash.
- Bedrooms now feature Tempurpedic quality mattresses and soft, fresh linens that are professionally sanitized.
- Outdoors has two levels of private covered patio decks, featuring seating and a 4 burner grill (with propane provided).
- 2 large garbage bins are provided and eco-friendly instructions for the National Park are provided at check-in.

Guest access
The entire home is exclusively private to you with a driveway right outside the door that allows parking for 3 vehicles.

The home's location is also the best in the park being central to all the sights:
-8 miles to Glacier Point / Badger Pass (ski/snowboard area)
-20 minutes to the infamous Yosemite Tunnel View
-25 minutes to YNP valley floor
-14 miles to historic Wawona
-35 minutes to Mariposa Grove & Goat Meadow(has snow play in winter)

Perfect place to stay in Yosemite

The house was located in a beautiful community only a 30-45 minute drive from all Yosemite Valley destinations we wanted to see plus Wawona and Mariposa! Comfortable place to eat, sleep, and recharge while enjoying the wonders of Yosemite!

Awesome place! Very spacious and comfortable. Easy check in.!The beds are heavenly, and each bedroom has nightstands and a desk. The bathrooms have plenty of storage space for toiletries in the vanities. The kitchen has everything: toaster oven, blender, huge microwave. The hosts thought of every possible kitchen necessities. Beautiful sunset view. Two decks & furniture. We didn’t use the grill but it’s there. Best of all, kid-friendly. Pack n play, toys, high chair, kid dishes, gate. We were in the park so no fighting entrance traffic every day. Quiet and perfect for our large group-6 adults and one toddler. Highly recommend.

EXCEPTIONAL place to stay!

I can’t say enough about this place! It was absolutely perfect for our trip to Yosemite! Location is perfect; contemporary decor with comfortable mattress; unbelievable sunsets from the balcony and a host/owner who’s a great communicator. I would say the photos don’t even do the place justice. Would 100% return and hope to do so one day. Thank you Kay, for sharing your place in such a sacred land!

Never thought to ask about having electrical power or AC. Upon arrival at 4pm. We realized the unit had no power. No power meant no wifi, and no phone signal. After finding the breaker box and trying that, we decided to make our way down the hill to find a way to communicate with hosts. I sent a text "help" around 4:30pm. I finally found a phone number for a rental company, and gave a call, they told me- Power is out in the entire park- and to find a way to "entertain myself". Upon arrival back at the unit, STILL no power. We opened all the windows- the screen on the front door is ripped, and bugs were coming in, so that got closed. The themostat downstairs read 89 degrees. No fans, no lights, no flashlights. We all were uncomfortable. WE had a tour booked the next day for 8:30am. Still no power. We arrived back at until at 6pm and finally saw message from host- They were informed at 6pm no power, and that the power would be back on at 9am. We arrived again, to a VERY hot house. There is a portable ac unit upstairs that eventually got the house cooler- UPSTAIRS, but downstairs remained 85-87 degrees. The people downstairs had two nights of horrible sleep. We decided to depart a day early. Once the unit got so hot for two days- it was impossible to really get it to a tolerable level. Host needs generator Was told the power outtages was VERY common in the park. Wish I had known that before booking. Best we can say is "At least it was clean".
