Maximum of 10 guests regardless of age. Please include infants in the total. The max occupancy is tied directly to the rental permit of this property and cannot be exceeded, otherwise we are forced to evict per county law.
Rental Agreement: Immediately after booking, the rental agreement displayed at checkout will be sent to you via text and email for E-signing. Kindly E-sign this within 48 hours to finalize your reservation. You will also need to upload a photo of the ID associated with the credit card on file. This is solely for fraud protection purposes. E-signing allows you to go straight to the property upon your arrival, instead of coming to our office to sign and get a key!
Welcome Guide: One week prior to arrival, a digital welcome book will be sent via text message. For the protection of our guests, the guidebook will not be given out to anyone except the person who booked the property. The guidebook will have your special door code, address, local recommendations, and much more great info to help you prepare for your trip!
Access to Yosemite and Nearby Attractions: Yosemite National Park now uses a reservation system to help manage visitor numbers. Good news — since this home is located inside Yosemite National Park, you do not need a separate park reservation! Just show proof of your lodging when entering the gate (check the official Yosemite website for current details). Keep in mind that access to certain park areas can sometimes vary, especially during peak or snowy seasons. Staying flexible and checking conditions ahead of time will help you make the most of your adventure in this stunning region.
Kitchen: The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cookware, cups, silverware, and more! Our housekeeping team provides salt, pepper, and a can of cooking spray for your use. Occasionally, previous guests leave behind items such as spices, aluminum foil, or ziplock bags. You're welcome to use any of these, but please note that our team does not check for or restock them, so we can't guarantee what will be available. If these items are crucial to the success of your vacation, we recommend bringing them along to ensure you have everything you need. We try to clearly state this in the listing so there are no surprises.
Linens: Did you know that our vacation homes are among the few in the Yosemite area to feature professionally laundered linens? For every reservation, all linens are cleaned in commercial-grade washers using hypoallergenic detergent that's stronger and more effective than typical residential options. They're then pressed at 300°F—nearly twice as hot as a standard home dryer—to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and freshness. It's an extra step we take to provide a truly clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. Fireplace/Firepits: No open wood-burning fire pits, bonfires, or campfires are permitted at short-term rentals. Charcoal grills of any type are strictly prohibited. Guests shall not bring any personal grills, barbeques, or other outdoor cooking apparatuses to the short-term rental; only those grills, barbeques, or other outdoor cooking apparatuses provided with the short-term rental are permitted to be used as installed and in the location installed.
No Pets: We love animals but unfortunately, this home is not pet-friendly. This helps us protect guests with allergies. If you're traveling with a furry friend, let us know — we'll be happy to recommend one of our pet-friendly Love Yosemite! properties nearby.
Parking: There is enough parking for 3-4 cars at this property. We appreciate you not exceeding the maximum parking limit. Many of the local roads are privately owned and privately maintained. Please be mindful to obey speed laws and drive slowly in residential neighborhoods!
Garbage: Garbage truck service is not available in this area. Yosemite Park requires visitors to "pack out" their garbage. There are several free bear proof dumpsters within walking distance of the cabin where you can dispose of your garbage.
Security Cameras: There are external only cameras on the premises that face certain entrance points of the home.
Snow Chains: California Highway Patrol and the National Park Service may require chains in wintery/snowy/icy conditions. Please ensure you are bringing a vehicle and necessary equipment capable of navigating in these conditions.
Insurance: Travel Insurance is provided as an option during the checkout process. Please note that as hosts, we cannot protect your trip from flight delays, illnesses, weather, job loss, or other circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip. We truly wish we could! We STRONGLY suggest purchasing some type of Travel Insurance so that you may protect your vacation investment from unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip. It's a nominal cost that can absolutely pay off!
Mail: Due to locked neighborhood mailboxes, we ask you not mail anything to the property. You are most welcome to mail items to our office (Love Yosemite! Vacation Rentals) in Oakhurst. Please reach out to us to make arrangements.
Pests: Please note that this property is nestled in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains, offering a wonderful connection to nature. While we take regular preventive measures, including professional pest control, occasional visits from local wildlife—such as ants, spiders, insects, mice, or cobwebs—can occur. If you notice any of these during your stay, please let us know so we can promptly address them and ensure your comfort.
Neighbors: Please do not trespass on the neighboring properties. We appreciate you respecting the local neighborhood!
Maintenance: In case of emergency - Management and Management's representatives and agents have the right to enter the premises, after making reasonable attempts to contact tenants, to make any necessary repairs to maintain the health and safety of the tenants or the property.
No Smoking: The Smoke Remediation Fee will be a minimum of $500 for smoking in the house and could be higher depending on the extent of the damage.
Quiet Hours: Quiet Hours are from 10PM to 8AM everyday. This is a quiet, mountain area so limiting noise during these hours would be appreciated by the locals who call our area home.
Check In: Check in is 4PM or anytime thereafter (it's self check in, drive safe!).
Check Out: Check out is 11AM or anytime before.
Lost items or left items: Management assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or abandoned items. Reasonable effort will be made to contact the Guest for return. There will be a $35.00 handling charge PLUS shipping costs for any found items returned at Guest's request. Management shall not be held liable for the condition of said items. Any items not claimed for longer than 30 days may be donated or sold.
Simple Checkout Instructions: We understand checking out can be stressful and hectic, so we have implemented some of the easiest checkout procedures in our industry. 1.) No need to start any laundry, we'll handle it all off site with our professional linen company. 2.) If you have time to start the dishwasher, that would be helpful. 3.) Please take your garbage to one of several free, bear proof dumpsters near the cabin. 4.) PLEASE return any furniture you may have moved during your stay (especially outdoor chairs). 5.) Most importantly, please note our checkout time is 11am, not 10am like over 80% of vacation homes in our area! Our housekeeping team runs on caffeine and tight schedules, so they sure do appreciate you leaving on time! Lastly, don't forget to get a photo with your family and friends before leaving!

We had three glorious nights here. The fire pit, the outdoor bbq and the spacious living space was so enjoyable. The sound of the river going lulled us to sleep every night. All of us had a great time. Definitely planning to return.

It’s a beautiful location. Staff were very easy to reach and quick to respond. However it felt not very clean. Dirt and dust on stairs, dirt oven, stained rug and shabby wood work.
It was our fist time visiting Yosemite and we wanted to stay in an area that would be somewhat close to all the significant sights. The home was comfortable and clean. Very spacious and neighborhood was very peaceful. Would highly recommend.
This cabin was a great place for our base of operations in Yosemite National Park! Our group of 8 people had plenty of room to spread out. Our favorite place to have our morning coffee was on the spacious deck with a beautiful view of the forest and the sound of the river below. The house is very close to the Swinging Bridge trail, which has a great swimming hole on the river. Our visit was in mid-July and it was hot, which made it difficult for the upstairs to stay cool, but that didn't deter from the great time we had.
Well equiped, as beautiful as it looked in the pictures. We had a few issues with things not working, breakers tripping, etc, and hosts were quick to answer when we reached out.
Note if it matters to you - river is far below property and not accessible at that point. In the fall when water is low, it was hard to even see. There is a great swinging bridge trail that gets you to places you could access the river.
Note
This property exceeded our expectations. This was a very special trip because we were taking my boyfriend‘s mom who has wanted to go to Yosemite National Park since she was 16 years old. It was really a bucket list opportunity to take her there and so we wanted to make sure everything went well. I picked this property because it looked like the most well-maintained and all inclusive house I could find in the park at a reasonable price. It definitely exceeded our expectations. It is right on the river. You can look down from the second floor balcony and see a beautiful river flowing and hear it while you’re sleeping in bed. All of the appliances worked perfectly, and it was amazing that it had a sort of vintage decor, but everything was still in perfect condition down to the toaster! It was a toaster from the 50s that worked perfectly, which was really fun to see all of those gadgets from another time. The spot had everything that we needed and more and was absolutely gorgeous and embodied everything you want to experience at Yosemite. But I think the most impressive part was the Customer Service. You can reach somebody at any point of the day and they are happy to assist. We were having trouble finding the house and we drove in at like 11 PM at night. We were pretty stressed and the guy that got on the phone with us was so kind and funny and helped us find exactly where it was. It was a great way to start the trip being that he was so friendly! Definitely book the spot!
We loved loved loved this place! It’s so beautiful, so peaceful. The lower deck looks out over a little stream and beautiful trees. There is a neighbor to the right, but no one to the left, so it feels pretty private. The hosts were great about checking in with us several times to make sure everything was ok, and very responsive when we had questions. Another review described it as a “bucket list “ kind of place, and we agree!
10 adults stayed there for 3 nights. The deck and living room were great place to gather in the mornings and evenings. The house is in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds of the valley. The kids saw a mountain lion by the trailhead for the waterfall not far from the house.

Quick stay in Yosemite
This was such a lovely place to stay in the park during our family holiday. There were only four of us but we can imagine how a large family could gather here for some very special times. The house was very well equipped and the owners have been very generous in what is provided. Although there are other houses nearby, when sat on the balconies it was easy to just think there was no-one else around. There is even a generator for when the local power is disrupted (which it was when we were there) but we didn't even notice. A very special place to stay - thank you!
The house is exactly as described, and the positive and recent reviews are accurate. It is towards the end of the development, which means it is pretty quiet. You can hear the river... especially at night if you leave a window open. But, the river is far enough down the hill that you don't have to worry about the kids wandering down and getting too close.Internet is fast... cell service is terrible (not the property's fault)The back deck is awesome and the propane firepit is awesome. Not sure what else to say other than when we go back to Yosemite, we will absolutely stay here again.Oh, I will add that it is a drive to the valley. Every bit of an hour. So, plan accordingly. It was not a big deal for us as we were only going to the valley twice in a 5 day stay.
Enjoyed our stay. Suggestions: twin beds were uncomfortable. We bought coffee filters but left them since we don't use that type at home. The A/C did not work upstairs. The water pressure was great. The stovetop is not working correctly with two of them not functioning at all.
