Kitchen well equipped. Well represented in pictures. All rooms had heated blankets available which was a nice touch. Good location to go to different points in the park.
This is a great location to stay, and is approximately 45 mins drive to the Park. It certainly would be helpful especially during the peak season. The house was absolutely amazing and very spacious to accommodate our extended family of 8. It was very clean and stocked with enough supplies even for a cold weather we experienced during our recent stay. There's a convenience store close by, and it's helpful if you miss something. Highly recommended for cleanliness and homely feel, prompt communication, and support.
Excellent location inside the park, very quite with good hiking routes directly from the home. Swinging bridge is about 1 mile away. House well setup with a welcome package. Only issue we had was the blinds in one of the rooms where not there but a good alarm to get up when the sun raises. Google maps takes you to behind the home so you will need to navigate your way to the front door. Ample parking for 2 vehicles.
Overall a pretty nice place. The neighborhood is a few modern and some older houses built in a rarely allowed spot - within a forest right on the southern edge of Yosemite. Beds were comfortable, place is nice so if you want to be in Yosemite, in your own place, this is it.
The property was great we did enjoy the staying it was quiet and enjoyed the surrounding I will recommend this place to people to look at I love it next year I would love to book this place again
Beautiful & comfortable stay for 3 generations IN Yosemite
Our party consisted of children as young as 2 to grandparents. The stay was super comfortable for everyone and having a two floor bedroom setup was very convenient. 10/10 would recommend.
We loved this cabin. It was clean and newer, and very comfortable. We even used the Traeger for tri-tip. Easy access to Yosemite Valley. Will stay here again.
Amazing location and really lovely home. Very clean, well layed out, and beautiful artwork. Tharea inside the park. Great river and amazing waterfall hike nearby at the end of the road too.
The house it's beautiful and in a great location! I'll definitely stay there again. I just need to mention two things that in my opinion will make this house the best place to stay. One, it would it be nice to have extra fans since it was a bit hot at night. Second it would it be nice to be able to use the garage to put the luggage and all our items in. Since we were a big group, we felt very squeeze in the living room with all the items we carried.
We enjoyed the large tables off the kitchen and on the deck that seated 7 of us easily. The traeger grill was excellent and cooked the juiciest brats. The beds were all comfortable and the bathrooms had heat lights if needed in the early morning. Everything was clean and in working order. Only suggestion would be to mount the TV in the living room lower. We had to slide the furniture back in order to watch a movie comfortably. The location inside the park in Wawona was great for visiting Mariposa Grove just south of us and Yosemite Valley to the north. We also discovered a great little trail along the river with a swinging bridge and large rock formations that was at the end of our road with a nice parking lot.
My family and I (including my parents who don’t do stairs and my 6 yo son) loved the home. Great view, great and expansive back deck, grill, comfy beds, and great location within a short walk to the Merced River and a great swimming hole. Would definitely come back
We liked the close proximity to Mariposa Grove in Yosemite. The drive to the Valley was about 45 minutes, not a bad drive. We were very happy with the well stocked kitchen because we cooked our meals, but the grill never worked. The house is not as remote as the pictures indicate. The house is in a beautiful location but there are other houses next door and around the area.
Great location. Well-kept home. Wood burning fireplace (awesome!) so be prepared to bring wood and/or tools to start a fire using the wood from the store down the street. Also, the BBQ is a Traeger (Awesome!) so you should bring your own flavored wood pellets.
Stayed here with a family of five. Was one of the few places I found that could accommodate us all with our own beds. The house was clean and comfortable. We cooked a couple meals and had breakfast everyday there. I gave a 3 on the location as you need to drive 45-60 minutes through the mountains to get to the main areas of Yosemite. Obviously this is not the hosts fault as I neglected to investigate exactly where in relation to the popular spots in Yosemite were. Anyway was a very nice house and we have high standards.
The house was the perfect size for the 5 of us. We enjoyed the kitchen together as a family. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, etc. We spent our evenings at the large dinner table. The living room was cozy and the fireplace was a wonderful gathering space for us all. We loved the location of this property as well. It was a close distance to the park hikes that we enjoyed daily.
Stayed at this property to celebrate anniv weekend with my spouse and two teenagers. Home had all the equipment you’d think you’d need and I especially loved the Traeger smoker and made some awesome ribeyes we bought at Oakhurst. Property is situated centrally and inside the park and about 30 minutes away from all the sites in Yosemite Valley and equally 30 minutes away from Oakhurst to go for grocery shopping, fast food, etc.. Was also nice that it was about a 10 minute drive from Mariposa Grove, which allowed us to go a little bit later in the day and avoid the crowds. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Yosemite

Worst Property Manager
We were provided the wrong key code to enter the property. For nearly four hours we were locked out. Not until 10 PM were we provided with the correct entry code. The property manager, Grand Welcome, would not answer our calls. Left several messages, all went unanswered. It was Vrbo who was able to contact Grand Welcome and provide the correct key code. Tired after a 7 hour drive, the property did not seem very welcoming!
The property had two and one half baths, not the 3 baths advertised. Stains in the refrigerator and dust covered vents, were not what one expects of a five star property.
In spite the initial frustration we had a great time at Yosemite. It is an amazing park.

Great place for a small group or family.
This is a great property. The pictures did not match the place at all (for the better). It seemed like the place was recently renovated. Everything was clean. We used the kitchen to prep our meals and it was well stocked. Had plenty of pots, pans, even a rice cooker, and everything else that we needed. The BBQ worked great for us. We loved the deck - my son loved just running around outside. We didn't use the hot tub.
It was easy to check in - we were provided a code to access the house and direction on accessing the house if the code didn't work.
We had an issue with the method of identification. The link that was provided by the management company didn't work. They never followed up after our request. And I had to keep asking how do we make sure our reservation was confirmed but they couldn't verify anything on the phone until we managed to go through the identification verification process. Additionally, on our second night, we had some people trying to "check in" by trying to use the codes to open the door. Subsequently, they knocked continuously claiming they had reserved the house. Unsure how true it was, but kind of scary when it was 10 pm at night. I was mostly wary just because we have a toddler with us. I also wish the check out time was a little later, 10 am check out is a tad early especially when we had to clean up a bit before leaving.
Despite that, our small group enjoyed staying here and would love to return.

House with a green hot tub
We stayed at this house over president's day weekend. One of the main reasons for choosing this house was the hot tub even though it was significantly higher in price than others we looked at. With the wonky weather we have been having in California lately, at least the hot tub would be something to do if the weather wasn't great. The first day the hot tub was great. The next day the hot tub began to look a little murky. By the third day it was pretty green and the foam from the bubbles had hair and other debris floating in it. I contacted the number given and they said they would reach out and check it out. We came home that day and it was still green. I reached out again, they said no one responded and sorry. I reached out again and they just said sorry, so we were unable to use it the last days of our trip. I know hot tubs can be finicky! But this house was expensive and not having it working was a bummer. The house was clean and well stocked on towels. There was a seasoning spinner, but if you need anything else it must be brought in. There is no Pam spray or anything like that. There were two small bags of trash right outside the back door and someones clothes over the balcony. It is a quick drive from the house to Mariposa grove and not that far to the valley. Location is great to see all that Yosemite has to offer.
We really enjoyed the stay, especially after finding the swimming hole near the swinging bridge! The house could use some upgrades, especially in the kitchen, but it was nice to have many bathrooms and beds! Would recommend, especially since there seems to be a limited supply of home rentals within the park. It is quite the drive to/from the valley, but a nice place to stay!
