Perfect getaway

Lovely getaway. Nice and remote, with access to restaurants if needed. Heater provided to keep warm but you dont need it as the pods retain heat very well. Adequate showers and toilet facilities which was clean and warm and separate kitchen area with fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave sink and cutlery. Beds was very comfy also.

Lovely place would definitely stay again, was disappointed that we didn’t have a double bed as we were asked before visiting if we were wanting one, but was still a nice experience

Great value and comfort pods

Pleasantly surprised to find that the pod had power. Very comfortable stay. The toilets and shower facilities were also very clean and modern.

I loved the set up of this little place. The pods were lovely. However, the pod was far too hot with just 2 people and a fan could have been provided. There was little communication from the owner and the bathrooms were a little unclean. Also the parking was a nightmare.

The wooden pods were great and something a bit different! The site and the pods were very clean. The owners were brilliant with us and our children and really friendly. We would definitely go there again.

Fabulous accommodation. Even though delayed in time getting to Wolds Glamping. Owners had kindly waited for me to ensure all okay on arrival. Great location near to York. Thoroughly enjoyed our first Glamping experience.

Great location for being out in the countryside, the site is really small which is great for not being overrun with other people. The family pod was very cramped for 4 people though with all floor space being taken up by the beds leaving no room to stand to unpack, get changed etc. If there had been a bit more room to move around it would have been a much more comfortable experience.

Pod was clean & quiet. Have decidedly cut cost at every corner. To use WiFi you have to walk up & sit on the wall around their home—at night or in the rain a disadvantage. Needs a couple of hooks in the pod to hang up clothes or a wet towel, otherwise hang towels on for extinguisher. A small shelf in pod would help to lay things on. Only 1/3 of bathrooms have mirrors so have to wait to shave. Shower could really use a chair & another hook. Pillows supplied are for couches not sleeping 😥Was ok but would look elsewhere next time.

Shepherd’s Hut was fantastic - cannot fault it at all. Comfort, cleanliness, location and amenities all brilliant. Communication could be improved as voicemail I left went unanswered. Also, assumption made by hosts on bed configuration of pod without checking which was disappointing and an email or phone call could have avoided this. Nevertheless, this was rectified by the friendly hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend and stay again, thank you.

Cosy cabin!

Amazing lovely cosy cabin, absolutely loved staying here with myself and my partner. Lovely quiet area and very close to local pubs shops etc. Very easy and welcoming check in and good quality facilities. Will definitely be returning!

Pods away!

Pods are small and cosy. Nothing further to say really. The owners were very friendly and always made time to stop and say hi. If I’m being picky they could do with better pillows as they have little support and I could sometimes feel the join in the bed beneath the mattress but for what it cost I can’t really moan

Pods are nice an clean. Fire pit outside the pod with deck chairs. My lass isn’t about door person and she enjoyed the nights stay there. I’d tell any1 to stay there for a last minute thing or weekend..

The property was a short walk from the village of Pocklington. At the property the pods kitchen and bathrooms where all to a high standard and very clean. Will be going again.
