Room was clean however i did notice a capsule table was on the floor between the bedside cabinet and the sofa-bed i am assuming this was dropped by the previous guest. Although this was not an issue for me it would be a concern if a family with young children had been allocated the room. Apart from this i was very happy with my stay.

The staff were excellent. Arrived early left luggage. Staff messaged when room was ready. Received message next asjingbif stay going ok. Said room was cold. Came staight away & fixed temp control. Staff excellent. Nothhing too much trouble. Said not yo bother with cleaning room but still brought fresh towels & topped coffee up. Breakfast choice very good & varied. Hot select good , topped up regularly. Would reccommend. C Handy for train station & town centre 10 .ins walk.

Finding a parking space in York generally can be a nightmare. Eventually managed to park at the nearby NCP car park ( queue for space one car in one car out ) but did save via the hotel price reduction.

Great staff, large rooms, great location (close to the train station), and fantastic bed and bathroom. The free breakfast was a bit disappointing, and my room was sort of in a basement, so my view was literally a brick wall.

Excellent hotel for a mid range budget. Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, as were all other areas of the hotel. Great location for transport links and all attractions are in a short walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Harrogate birn and raised but now i Worcestershire was lovely to visit York once again. This hotel great for parking/city/train station situ. Ramp or step access to hotel which is good. Courteous welcome at Reception. Room spotless particularly the bathroom. I liked the safety bar as well as a lock on the room door. Great stylish shower, again spotlessly clean. Can control room temp (like it cold through the night). Breakfast early to miss 'the rush' and it was excellent. Again spotlessly clean and an unexpected wide variety of choice from cooked to continental and a waffle machine which of course we tried. Have to say the Americano coffee from the machine was pretty good. Easy hotel to drive to off A64. Parking NCP is just a couple minutes further down the street, we did have to queue, but it was a Saturday and it wasnt for long. The NCP attendant Callum took the trouble of showing us where the vacant bay was on 2nd Floor. Guests get discount so bring your ticket with you. I dont think it's promoted enough as only realised when a departing guest swiped his NCP ticket at Reception. Checkout 11am, so a nice slow lazy Sunday morning before a boat trip then home.

The staff are all really helpful and spend a lot of time with you ensuring you enjoy your stay. The rooms are clean. Refreshing to have bar prices that are the same as pub prices, normally they are far more expensive. The breakfast choice was great and all fresh.
